The game offers players a unique way to interact with Iron Maiden's real world activities by introducing not only a replica of one of the tour stage productions, but also the debut of "The Book of Souls" version of Shaman Eddie into the game, in his Mayan themed incarnation as featured on the band’s most recent studio album. Gemini Syndrome Releases New Video

Gemini Syndrome just debuted the “Sorry, Not Sorry” official music video. taken off the "Memento Mori" album. In addition to the video coming online, look for Gemini Syndrome on the of the "Half God, Half Devil" tour with In This Moment, Motionless In White, and Avatar later this month. The band comments:

“Our brand-new music video for 'Sorry Not Sorry' tells the story about a husband and wife who have lost themselves in vanity and greed. The woman injects herself with large painful needles and cuts her face, while the man chops up a briefcase full of cash and snorts it like drugs. As the wife sits down with her husband at the dinner table, she looks cartoonish, while the husband is sweating over a large mirrored plate of money. Things then really start to take a turn for the worse for them both and you gotta watch to find out their fate.

"The song itself shines a light on the collective mental illness that our society seems to be infected with. Now more than ever, it's so easy to lose ourselves in a false virtual reality that glorifies materialism and self-seeking satisfaction. We've become ironic memes of ourselves, social zombies lost in our devices, where tangible human interaction has become unnecessary and burdensome. We're desensitized from only seeing others and ourselves through self-imposed filters. It's time to wake up from the spell and look ourselves, and each other, in the eye. More...

American Standards Posts New Video

Phoenix hardcore outfit American Standards just released second music video single "Carpe Diem Tomorrow," which comes off upcoming record "Anti-Melody."

In this claustrophobically dark video filmed by Jacob Reynolds (Dead Rabbits, Escape The Fate, The New Low), silhouettes of the band thrash amidst frantic lights, capturing the passion and intensity of the song.

Vocalist Brandon Kellum commented on the video: "We all know the person that's been at their job for 10 years and complains every day about it, someone who's planed on going back to school or wants to travel but always makes excuses on why they don't. 'Carpe Diem, Tomorrow' is about getting out of your comfort zone. Being open to new experiences and ways of thinking. Moving is living. You're not getting any younger and there will never be a 'right time' so do something that scares the hell out of you every day of your life."

New album "Anti-Melody" comes out April 28th and is available for pre-order on iTunes, Amazon and Bandcamp. Check out the new video below. More...

Tengger Cavalry Unveils New Album

Bands that take on a "theme" often end up pigeonholing themselves, releasing album after album with the same overarching concept and sound.

When it came time to write and record upcoming full-length album, "Die On My Ride," Global Music Award-winning nomadic folk metal group Tengger Cavalry recognized the opportunity to expand on the band's exotic sound and lyrical explorations by delving into more personal, topical themes of racial discrimination, identity, equal rights, and freedom.

"Die On My Ride," which is scheduled to hit stores on June 2nd, 2017 via M-Theory Audio, delivers the potent, inimitable metal-meets-Mongolian/Central Asian world music sound that diehard Tengger Cavalry fans have come to know and love, while incorporating fresh styles and concepts that a whole new fanbase will enjoy. Listen to the brand new title track, "Die On My Ride," via the lyric video below.

"'Die On My Ride' is a rather different album than all of our previous releases," states Tengger Cavalry mastermind and frontman Nature G."This album reaches a more personal place for us. We discuss personal struggle surrounding identity conflicts, racial discrimination and individual freedoms. Enslaved Enters The Studio

It’s been more than two years since the release of "In Times" (reviewed here) and now Norwegian progressive metal band Enslaved has entered the studio again to record a 14th, yet-untitled release.

Aiming for both wilder and yet more progressive and melodic horizons, the band celebrated its 25th anniversary last year and never ceases to surprise and challenge the fans. The recordings are taking place at Duper & Solslottet Studios in Bergen throughout April, and will be mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios.

“It is absolutely fantastic to be in the studio with these new songs," states mastermind Ivar Bjørnson. "So many doors were opened with ‘In Times’ and the times (sic) that followed; for us as a band, for me as a composer and I guess for us all on a personal level. I have never worked this hard to put together music for an album before, and that intensity continues into the studio where everybody is giving their everything, every hour of every day. We are a tighter unit than ever before, which is obvious sonically. The concept conjured by myself and old war-brother Grutle is the strongest we have worked with. Finally, I am proud that we have taken more risks than ever before, and one in particular - and it is yielding awesome results. What does that mean? Stay tuned to find out!” More...
