About

A quick disclaimer - the "x" in my name has nothing to do with the straight edge movement. Sorry for any confusion.

I'm the content manager for Metalunderground.com, so if you want your band to get setup with an interview or review, contact me via Facebook or e-mail (xfiruath[at]metalunderground.com).

I'm interested primarily in progressive death/black metal (Ihsahn, Code, Aenaon, Augury), disturbing black metal (Dodecahedron, Deathspell Omega), symphonic black metal (Borknagar, Carach Angren), avant garde metal (Peccatum, Source of Tide), some power metal, or music that blends drastically different styles (Hardingrock, Samael, Therion). I also enjoy some more mellow bands like Tiamat, Anathema, Katatonia, Second Coming, Star of Ash, Mortiis, Autumns Eyes, and Three.

My grimdark fantasy / horror novel "Light Dawning" is out now and can be picked up digitally or physically at goo.gl/hQEgpL
