Motorhead Reveals "Aftershock" Art
After various health issues with front man Lemmy led to some show cancellations, as well as a cut-short set at Wacken, Motorhead is now moving forward full speed ahead.
The band's new album will be titled "Aftershock," and the album artwork can be viewed below.
"Aftershock" is due out October 21st in Europe and October 22nd in North America. The track listing is as follows:

Magor Releases First Music Video
Israel's melodic black metal outfit Magor has released the band's first official music video for the track "Essence To The Oblivion." Check it out below.
"Essence To The Oblivion" is taken from the debut album "Drawn To The Dark," which was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Miko Haronian At Metal Sound Studios.
Sonic Prophecy Song To Appear In Danny Trejo Flick
Salt Lake act Sonic Prophecy has posted the following message online about a track appearing in a new movie starring Danny Trejo:

Asylum Streaming New Song
Mumbai, India based groove metal four piece Asylum has a new track out now. Check out "Towards the Zero" below, which is the opening song off the "Inmate" EP."
The song was mixed and mastered by Arun Iyer at MotorG Studios, and artwork was handled by Karishma Mehta.
Obituary Announces Live Shows, New Album
The Tampa death metal icons in Obituary will bring their brutal wares to the stage this Fall on a short series of live assaults.
The tour begins with a pair of back-to-back shows at Brooklyn, New York's Saint Vitus Bar on October 9th and 10th, before flattening nine more venues through October 20th. Having been holed-up in their own Redneck Studios the last few weeks penning the follow-up to 2009's punishing "Darkest Day full-length" (2009), the shows serve as a temporary writing break.
Elaborates drummer Donald Tardy: "We have been busting our asses in the studio, having a blast and writing new material. Twelve songs are done and ready to be recorded but we want a monster album for our fans so we are working on a few more to make this record huge! We will continue writing until October when we will take a break from the studio and new music and go destroy the Trois-Rivieres Metalfest with Hatebreed and crush the US."

Essence Drops Off European Tour
Mercenary is out on the road with Essence and Omnium Gatherum. The band has now posted the following message online about Essence dropping off the tour:
"It is with great regret that we must inform you that Essence has left our European tour early. Due to health issues the band chose to cancel the rest of the tour. We wish them the best and a speedy recovery.
"On another note - we will be playing Frankfurt this Monday the 9th of September at the Nachtleben club. By mistake this show was not mentioned on our official website even though the show was announced on other social media. We apologize for any confusion and hope to see you there!"

To Set Ablaze has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with the band's bassist:
"Hello everyone. I am unhappy to tell you our bassist Robert Warren has decided to part ways with To Set Ablaze, for personal and creative writing reasons. There is no bad blood and he will be missed.
"He plans to continue playing our current schedule then he will be gone. We plan to continue making music for you all but shows after November 16th may be scarce. We plan to use this down time to finish our album! We love you all, make sure you come out to see Roberts last few shows with us!"
