Stray From The Path Posts Album Teaser

Long Island hardcore activists Stray From The Path have returned with "Anonymous," which is out now. A teaser trailer for the album has also been posted online and can be viewed below.

Stray From The Path just completed a run across North America this summer on the annual “AllStars” Tour and will now head out for another U.S. trek this fall with Backtrack, Gideon, No Bragging Rights, and Rescuer rounding out the package. Irdorath Posts New Music Video

After releasing the "Minions of Lust" music video, Irdorath now has a new video out for the track "Liar," which can be viewed below.

The video was shot in Switzerland this past July 5th. "Liar" comes off the band's upcoming album "I Am Risen," due out October 18th, 2013 via Noisehead Records.

Eternal Helcaraxe To Release Vinyl Single

Eternal Helcaraxe has announced the band will be releasing a brand new song on 7" vinyl in the coming months. The title of the track is "Flames in the Darkness."

Primitive Race Posts Music Teaser

Primitive Race has released a teaser via SoundCloud as work continues on the band's debut album. Check it out below.

Primitive Race currently consists of Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson), Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory), Luc Van Acker (Revolting Cocks), Raymond Watts (PIG, Schwein, Schaft, Mekon, former KMFDM), Dave Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy, NIN, Marilyn Manson, Jakalope, Marianas Trench), Erie Loch (Blownload, Exageist, Luxt), Mark Thwaite (Peter Murphy, Gary Numan, Mob Research), Graham Crabb (Pop Will Eat Itself), and Chris Kniker (Lords of Acid Producer).

The band's upcoming debut single "Long In The Tooth" will feature remixes from Front Line Assembly, Paul Barker's (Ministry) latest project Bells Into Machines, and more. It will also be supported via an official lyric video.

Beyond Visions Announces Album Release

Beyond Visions will digitally release the "Your Face is Familiar" album this coming October 1st, 2013 via Sliptrick Records. The label also comments:

Wolves At The Gate Streaming Thursday Cover

Wolves At The Gate is excited to share the band's cover of “Understanding In A Car Crash” by Thursday. Check it out via Alternative Press here.

The track is one of four taken from the Ohio group's upcoming digital-only covers EP, "Back To School."

“It's always hard to pick favorites, but ‘Understanding In A Car Crash’ has to be my favorite Thursday song to date,” WATG guitarist/vocalist Steve Cobucci explains to AP. “The type of honesty found in their music has been lost for a while in the scene and so this song was a perfect for what we wanted to do in this EP, which was to play some songs from our early days growing up that inspired us to do what we do musically.”

"Back to School" is set to drop September 30th and has the following track listing:

1. Deadbolt (originally by Thrice)
2. Understanding In A Car Crash (originally by Thursday)
3. Sleepwalking (originally by Blindside)

Deathember Posts Behind The Scenes Footage

Swedish groove metallers Deathember have released the first part of their documentary ”Making of Going Postal.” The video series includes studio and behind the scenes footage from the band's time recording debut album ”Going Postal."

Deathember released ”Going Postal” on the 19th of April via Violent Groove Music Group. The album features 10 tracks, 2 of which include guest appearances by Daniel Ädel (Vildhjarta, Uneven Structure) and Ralph Santolla (Deicide, Obituary, Iced Earth). In Flames Releases New Music Video

After playing the last show of the “Sounds Of A Playground Fading” cycle at Germany’s Summer Breeze festival, In Flames has just released a video for the title track off the album (reviewed here).

The video, which is made of live material, was produced by Patric Ullaeus. Check it out below.

Fans will also have another chance to see In Flames live this year: the amusement park Gröna Lund (Stockholm, Sweden) announced the band is confirmed for a special show next week, September 27th, 2013.

Gröna Lund had in fact closed their park for the season, but when they got word that In Flames was available, they decided to re-open the park, just for this show. Check out Gröna Lund's website here for details. More...
