Futures End Issues DVD Update

Futures End has issued the following announcement about releasing a new DVD and re-releasing the "Memoirs of a Broken Man" album:

"Hello, FE Friends! As you may know, we have been working on a DVD for the past several months. It is damn near ready to send off to Nightmare Records for release. As you also may know, we had planned to re-issue 'Memoirs of a Broken Man' with new art for the third run of the album since the first two runs have sold out. The idea was to include the DVD with the album as a bonus. Plans have slightly changed.

"We will be releasing the DVD and including the complete album with it for the same price! So you will get the complete CD along with the DVD and won't be paying any more for it! This release will also include the new album art and will be available in a limited and numbered run of 1,000 copies. We are very excited to offer this to our friends all over the world.

"The DVD includes a full hour plus documentary about the band, our past, our present, and our future. There are interviews, studio clips, and commentary from friends and fans of the band. There is also a 15 minute 'gag reel' of some of the funniest stuff we have caught but couldn't work into the documentary. And finally, we have included our entire debut performance at the Progpower USA X Showcase in Atlanta last year. That is one hell of a lot of stuff! Stay tuned for release dates and availability. This is something that I am sure that Futures End fans the world over will enjoy!"

Trail Of Tears Parts Ways With Guitarist

Trail of Tears has checked in with the following update about parting ways with the band's guitarist:

"Our guitarist, party-hat chief and beer drinker extraordinaire, Paul, has informed the rest of us that he is leaving the band. His decision is based on lack of time and a general wish to concentrate on the band that he co-founded, Guardians of Time. We think it sucks to lose a talented guitarist as well as a genuinely great guy but this decision is probably for the best both for Paul, as well as for the band and we absolutely respect it and wish Paul much luck and happiness in the times to come. Trail of Tears will not bring a new member into the family as we are very much content with how the situation is at the moment and so the band will continue as a 5-piece.

"We also want to make it perfectly clear that this will not affect the upcoming festivals and shows, nor will it affect the writing and pre-production work for the next album, a process that we are well underway with." More...

Rhapsody Of Fire Announces New CD Details

Rhapsody Of Fire is set to release a new CD entitled "The Cold Embrace Of Fear – A Dark Romantic Symphony" on October 15th, 2010. Guitarist Luca Turilli commented on the release:

"For this special CD we composed a unique song of around 35 minutes divided in 7 'acts.' Looking at the title you can easily imagine that such long and epic song will show the most cinematic and orchestral side of our band, all our passion for the world of cinema we love so much and that always represented our main influence while composing the Rhapsody's music. Essentially it is a long huge song, sounding very symphonic, full of orchestral sections very soundtrack oriented, narrations and spoken parts.

"More than in other cases we tried to create a real movie atmosphere with very dynamic musical results, also thanks to the help of the English actors that gave voice to different characters. You will just need to close your eyes and explore those new emotional dimensions we wrote the music for.“ More...

Worth and Houston, TX due to a serious family issue, we have been having a blast.

Every band had an amazing crowd response. I would have to say that we/Joel had the loudest response of the night as EVERYONE in the venue chanted happy birthday to Joel’s eternal 21st.
