Australian alternative metal mainstays Karnivool have confirmed their new album, “In Verses“, will arrive February 06th via Cymatic Records/Sony Music. The record marks their first full-length since 2013’s “Asymmetry“.

Sessions for the album were once again overseen by producer Forrester Savell, with the band unveiling its latest preview, in the form of the single “Aozora“, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below..

Taking its name from the Japanese word for blue sky, the track was described by frontman Ian Kenny as follows:

“The whole theme for that song is escaping, or waiting to escape. Trying to find a way to escape yourself. The idea of finding freedom in the blue. Trying to find freedom amongst the complications of just being human. We’re so weird, you know? Trying to understand that at different times along the road, sometimes you end up with more questions than answers.”

“In Verses” track-list:

01 – “Ghost“
02 – “Drone“
03 – “Aozora“
04 – “Animation“
05 – “Conversations“
06 – “Reanimation“
