Glenn Hughes Announces Autobiography And Rarities EP

Iconic singer and bassist Glenn Hughes (ex-DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) will release his autobiography, "The Life, Near Death, And Rebirth Of A Rock Star: Deep Purple And Beyond", later this year via Foruli Publications. The book, co-written with Joel McIver and featuring an introduction by METALLICA's Lars Ulrich, will appear in a luxury first edition complete with rare photos and an exclusive 10" vinyl EP, "The Life Of A Rock Star", featuring the following all-new recordings:
1. What Is A Woman's Role? (TRAPEZE, written by Hughes)
2. Holy Man (DEEP PURPLE, written by Hughes, David Coverdale, Jon Lord)
3. Dying To Live (brand new acoustic solo track)
The EP was produced by Glenn Hughes and recorded by Jono Brown at Word of Mouth Recording in California in June 2010. Hughes performed all vocals, acoustic guitars. Jono Brown takes care of percussion on "What Is A Woman’s Role?"
