Megadeth Premiere New Single & Music Video "Tipping Point" From Upcoming Self-Titled Final Album

It’s the beginning of the end for Megadeth. The thrash metal pillars—one of the genre’s so-called “big four” alongside Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax—have confirmed plans to call it quits following a farewell tour tied to their upcoming seventeenth studio album, “Megadeth”.
That self-titled effort will land on January 23rd via BLKIIBLK, boasting 11 tracks in total. Tonight saw the arrival of its first single, “Tipping Point,” streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. Band founder and frontman Dave Mustaine first revealed back in August that the multi-platinum legends would be winding down their career.

The first leg of their farewell touring is already underway, with the group currently out across Europe and the UK alongside Disturbed on the latter’s 25th anniversary run for “The Sickness”:
