Dark Matter Secret Launches Full Album Stream

Deity Streaming Full New Album
Toronto death metal duo Deity will drop a self-titled album this coming June 2nd, but today the band has launched a full stream ahead of time.
The group's debut album features eight brutal assaults with session drums done by Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy) and session bass by Flo Ravet (ex-Nephelium). Mixing and mastering for the album was handled by Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist) and the disc was produced by Danny Alessandro with Joey Virgilio.
Guitarist / vocalist Danny Alessandro comments: “This album has been a long time in the making and we are very proud of what we've created. From start to finish we want to take the listener on a journey of different emotions and feeling. As fans of metal we wanted to create something the listener could play over several times without losing interest. Something with a timeless feeling, and we feel like we've achieved this. Metallica's New Album Certified Platinum
Metallica's latest album "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct" has been certified Platinum for selling upwards of a million albums.
The band was recently presented with Platinum plaques by Blackened Recordings executives at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.
Metallica also recently unleashed a live video for current single "Now That We're Dead" shot during the 2017 "Hardwired" world tour, which can be viewed below.

Jeff Simmermon Posts "Vomit Fist" Comedy Track
Comedian Jeff Simmermon has created an oratory carnival on his upcoming debut album of comedic tales, "And I Am Not Lying," due out June 9th via Comedy Dynamics.
Topics on the album include his band with piano-playing chickens (Royal Quiet Deluxe), slaughtering kangaroos in the Australian outback, cancer, furious empathy on the New York subway, dinner with the Reverend Al Sharpton, dating following a surprise divorce and even grindcore.
This week, new track "Vomit Fist" debuts, featuring Simmermon's comedic telling of hosting the familial grindcore band at his UCB show in NYC. Jeff discovers just what a lecture in hell might look like after a show with father/son grindcore trio Vomit Fist when the boys sneak back into the bar, in full gig makeup, before helping pops load their gear in the van.
"Vomit Fist is hands-down the most thrilling act I’ve ever had on the show," says Simmermon. "It’s really sweet to see them putting each other’s corpse makeup on before the show, and such a fun, family vibe mixed with brutal thrashing." More...
Intrcptr Announces "I" Release
Intrcptr is the pairing of guitarist Ben Carr and drummer Larry Herweg - longtime veterans of ungodly catchy riffs within the framework of all things heavy. "I" is the first offering and initial exemplar of all things Intrcptr.
Recorded and mixed by Gabe Van at Akira Audio and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, with artwork by Brian Montouri, "I" will be available on all digital and streaming platforms beginning July 21st, 2017.

The "Make America Rock Again" tour is back for its second annual sojourn, bringing America's hard-rocking party to your backyard.
The tour will feature a line-up consisting of lauded Creed vocalist Scott Stapp in the headlining spot (performing Creed hits with his full band), alt-rock giants Sick Puppies, massive heavy rock crew Drowning Pool, modern rock royalty Trapt, and metallic rockers Adelitas Way.

Tombs Streams "November Wolves"
On June 16th, Brooklyn's Tombs will release fourth full-length album, "The Grand Annihilation," via Metal Blade Records.
Produced once again by Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Soilent Green, Belphegor, Hate Eternal), "The Grand Annihilation" remains rooted in the blackened, post-metallic sound that the band has become known for since 2007's self-titled EP, while also being the band's most experimental record to-date.

Battle Raider Signs With Fighter Records
Mexican metal force Battle Raider just signed up with Fighter Records to release an impending sophomore album.
Formed back in 2010, Battle Raider self-released debut album "Hard Flyer" in 2015, obtaining great reactions through the worldwide heavy metal underground. Now the band's second album will be the self-titled "Battle Raider." Stay tuned for info on the summer release date to be revealed soon.
Fighter Records comments that the album "shows a more mature development into their old school rooted and guitar driven Heavy Metal that will for sure appeal to any fan of bands like very early Queensryche, CIrith Ungol, Iron Maiden, early Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, and even Manowar, just to name a few." Nemesea Releases "Dance In The Fire" Video
Nemesea recently announced that vocalist and musical theatre star Sanne Mieloo will be the new frontwoman of the Dutch rock band!
With the band's latest album "Uprise" and first single "Forever," Nemesea received worldwide positive responses and the band members were determined to go on with a new vocalist after former vocalist Manda Ophuis decided to leave the band to focus on her education job. Auditions of more than 80 vocalists from all over the globe followed in October and November 2016. Finally the band selected Sanne Mieloo after she persuaded the band with her great voice, versatility, stage presence, as well as, her fresh ideas.
The first result is the band's new single "Dance In The Fire," which was once again produced by Guido Aalbers. In the past weeks, the band has worked tirelessly behind the scenes, preparing and producing the stunning video for the song which the band partnered with MetalUnderground.com to celebrate its premiere today!
Mieloo graduated cum laude at the Conservatory, wrote her own musical theatre performances and was connected to several productions by live entertainment company, Stage Entertainment. She’s also performed in musicals, including "Tarzan" and "Sister Act." Her talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, for over the last 3 years, Sanne performed in several productions in Germany, Austria, Poland and Japan. Apart from her work in the theatre world, she has experience in the music scene as well; she’s traveled as a backing vocalist for singer Oonagh across major venues in Germany. Most recently Sanne played a leading role in the musical "Tanz der Vampire" in Switzerland. With the arrival of Sanne, Nemesea is complete and ready for the future, a large portion of which will consist of playing as many live shows as possible.

Skein Signs With Inverse Records
Finnish alternative metal quintet Skein signed to Inverse Records for the release of a sophomore album soon.
The Tampere-based band has been tenaciously focusing on its own blend of metal having released the debut full-length album "Of Wings Unfolding" in 2014. The band has also released a digital single "Rapier" and published with music video in the beginning of 2016. Check it out in the player below for a sampling.
The band is currently writing material for the upcoming new album with a legendary finnish producer Tuomas Kokko (Swallow the Sun, Ghost Brigade etc.). More news is expected soon.

Casus Belli Musica issued the new album "Poveter" from Russian folk metal act Oprich this past Friday. Today, the band is streaming the entire new album via Folk-Metal.nl at this location, or you can simply check it out in the player below.
Oprich delves into the viking theme retaining the original sounds and exuding a rare flair while keeping it heavy. The new album title translates as "All Sails to the Wind" and it glorifies the heritage of the ancient Russian viking parallels - the Ushkuiniks of Novgorod. This album comes in a fantastic 4-panel digipak with a 20-page booklet highlighting the ancient, overlooked history of the "Russian vikings."

Italian folk/power metal band Wind Rose is streaming the new song "Dance of fire," the third song issued from the band's third and latest studio album "Stonehymn," which was just issued this past Friday via Inner Wound Recordings.

Ward XVI Announces New Album Details
UK Theatrical avant-garde rock band Ward XVI has revealed the cover artwork and track listing for the upcoming full length debut album "The Art Of Manipulation." The album drops on July 1st via Rock'N'Growl Records. The first of three album teasers featuring snippets of the first 4 tracks - "Take My Hand," "The Art Of Manipulation," "The Flight" and the brand new single "Crystal Ball" can be viewed at the bottom of this article.
"The Art of Manipulation" is a 12-Track concept album telling the introspective story of a female psychopath locked away in a high security asylum. "The Art of Manipulation" is a genre defying mix of hard-hitting metal riffs, soaring guitar solos, off-beat ska rhythms, melancholic piano, accordion, catchy female vocals and a hint of electro.
In the summer of 2013, in the city of Preston in the Northwest of England, a group of misfits got together for a new musical project Ward XVI, with the aim of creating something completely unique. Each musician coming from a different musical background drawing in influences from the likes of Alice Cooper, Lordi, The Skintz, Stolen Babies, Scar Symmetry, Diabolo Swing Orchestra, Iron Maiden, Alter Bridge, Jason Becker and Avatarium. In 2015, the band issued the debut EP release.
