The Father Of Serpents Premieres New Song

The Father Of Serpents is an entity consisting of six souls from the Serbian scene, entwined by an admiration for doom metal.

The band's first album "Age Of Damnation" is set for a June 19th release and contains nearly an hour of apocalyptic atmosphere, presented through the gentlest of acoustic passages to the most brutal and vicious heaviness.

Pre-orders are online here, and today we're exclusively premiering advance track "The Grave For The Universe," which can be heard below. You can also follow the latest on The Father Of Serpents at Facebook here.

The band comments: "'The Grave for the Universe' is a song with the most riffs and parts on the album. Musically it sums up the whole album, there are slow parts, fast double bass drumming, acoustic passages, modern riffing, 80s heavy metal solo in the end and very dark lyrics. Somehow it all makes sense here!"

02. The Flesh Altar
03. Tale Of Prophet
04. The Grave For Universe

Bloody Hammers Releasing Limited EP

Please welcome a new chapter in the mysterious world of Bloody Hammers: "The Horrific Case Of Bloody Hammers." This very special case is a webstore & band only release strictly limited to 300 copies and due out on July 14th, 2017.

This six song EP descends from the dark mountain peaks of Transylvania, featuring somber sacral organ symphonies that slide over cruel hammering staccato riffing. The master of horror Anders Manga delivers a bombastic, powerful voice over his wife Devallia's sinister synthesizers. The ice-cold nostalgia of 70's b-list thrillers and horror flicks shoots through the veins directly into the heart.

Check out a video for "Blood" below. Anders Manga states: "Ultimately, the song is about the quest for freedom from oppression in any form. Many people blindly accept oppression simply because they were told to, or out of fear of retaliation from family or eternal damnation. Some never question it, because they don't even realize they are being oppressed. If constant fear and threats prevent one from simply enjoying their life, then something needs to change. More...

Rings Of Saturn Unveils New Album

Bay Area technical deathcore group Rings Of Saturn arrives back on the scene to release fourth full-length studio album "Ultu Ulla" on July 28th via Nuclear Blast Records. The alien deathcore quartet present an entirely new and esoteric proposition to heavy metal.

Band astermind Lucas Mann discusses the album title: "The album name, 'Ultu Ulla,' means 'Time Immemorial' in Sumerian Cuneiform. 'Ultu Ulla' is about aliens transcending space and time and uncovering an ancient incomprehensible entity that threatens the fabric of universal existence."

First single "Inadequate" can be seen via the player below, and you can order your copy of the album digitally on iTunes and receive a download for "Inadequate" instantly.

The hallucination-inducing cover artwork was completed once again by Mark Cooper of Mind Rape Art, consisting of a triple painting that continues the story from the 2-piece artwork of "Lugal Ki En."

Mark Cooper comments, "The general idea was to create a scene where gods from beyond time and space are invading 3D-reality and taking over. They are chaotic beings that can take any form at will and manifest anything with their imaginations." More...

This song is the first track taken from VUUR's debut album, which has yet to be named, due in the fall of this year.

Cellador Issues "Break Heresy" Video Clip

Nebraska power metal act Cellador issued a new music video for "Break Heresy." The song is lifted from the latest album "Off the Grid," which is available now via Scarlet Records.

Meticulously crafted at the helm of founding member, songwriter, and producer Chris Petersen, the long awaited follow up to the critically acclaimed "Enter Deception" finally arrived, setting the bar even higher and faster on its trademark brand of steroid injected, high intensity power metal music.

Spiked with a unique ferocity and infectious melody, this is an album not for the feint hearted. Within its audible depths the band continues the high energy power and speed metal of its previous album, while adding more clarity, more focused vision, and a cohesiveness never before achieved in its songwriting until now.

"Off the Grid" was mixed and mastered by Peter Rutcho at Damage Studios (Havok, Revocation, Vomitron, Armory) in Southbridge, MA with artwork created by Colin Marks at Rain Song Design.
