Details Of New Album "The Art Of Manipulation" Issued By Ward XVI
UK Theatrical avant-garde rock band Ward XVI has revealed the cover artwork and track listing for the upcoming full length debut album "The Art Of Manipulation." The album drops on July 1st via Rock'N'Growl Records. The first of three album teasers featuring snippets of the first 4 tracks - "Take My Hand," "The Art Of Manipulation," "The Flight" and the brand new single "Crystal Ball" can be viewed at the bottom of this article.
"The Art of Manipulation" is a 12-Track concept album telling the introspective story of a female psychopath locked away in a high security asylum. "The Art of Manipulation" is a genre defying mix of hard-hitting metal riffs, soaring guitar solos, off-beat ska rhythms, melancholic piano, accordion, catchy female vocals and a hint of electro.
In the summer of 2013, in the city of Preston in the Northwest of England, a group of misfits got together for a new musical project Ward XVI, with the aim of creating something completely unique. Each musician coming from a different musical background drawing in influences from the likes of Alice Cooper, Lordi, The Skintz, Stolen Babies, Scar Symmetry, Diabolo Swing Orchestra, Iron Maiden, Alter Bridge, Jason Becker and Avatarium. In 2015, the band issued the debut EP release.
