Guitarist, backing vocalist, and founding member of Marionette Aron Parmerud commented:
"We’re excited and honored to tour with the MURDERDOLLS next week on the bands continental European dates. This is a band we feel really confident touring with; they have a strong visual character and are excellent performers. Sharing the stage with them for two weeks will give us a chance to try out some of our new material from our third album, which is now close to being completely mixed. We’re also looking forward to seeing what our fill in drummer Robin Jensen will do on stage with us!"
Sins7Sins has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the band's drummer:
"Sad news from the Sins7Sins camp: Armada XTC, their drummer since the beginning, has decided to leave the band. Unfortunately playing the drums in Sins7Sins became too time-consuming for him.
"Be sure that this won't have any effect on their tour schedule, because the band has already announced a new drummer: Heresy 101. This is the current lineup of Sins7Sins Lotus - Angelic Vocals, Gen Morphine - Six-Stringed Chainsaw & Vocal Abuse, Tristan Hex - Distorted Hell-Harp, JD Acid - Underworld Lowth, and Heresy 101 - Drums of War & Darkened Anvils."

Michael commented: "We received a lot of positive feedback from our fans, encouraging us to keep Rebellion alive. Also Tomi and I believe in the future of the band."
Tomi added: "We want to restructure the band. Micha and I want to do rehearsals on a regular basis and not only if we'll play concerts soon. Our future rehearsal room will be located near Giessen (Germany). Our new band mates should live nearby. If you think you'd be the right guitarist or drummer for Rebellion feel free to send your application to rebellionfromhell(at)yahoo(dot)com."

"The song was an obvious choice for us from the album. It’s a song that represents the album very well. It is based on the classic Vreid sound, but also is a good illustrator of the new doors we have opened with the album." The video was recorded over a 3 days period in Wroclaw Poland, and is produced by Grupa 13, who are known for work with Behemoth and Amon Amarth.
"It was a pleasure to work with such professional and creative people," continues Hváll. "The filming itself went very smooth, and we had a great dialogue with the producers both by building the storyline, as well as in the process of the after work."

New York metal act Flourishing has issued the following update about recording a new full-length album:
"January 28th will see us begin tracking 8 songs that will make up our first full length. Good buddy Ryan Jones will be engineering in the cold, cluttered mess that is room A-4, or the 'studio.' No need to write a word about the music itself...how boring that would be. The only thoughts to share are that we are very much hoping the record will be performed, captured and realized in a justice serving way.
"And being that we're only about 2 weeks out from beginning means that this less than well-oiled machine needs practice. When any group of people ready for a recording session, one wonders if unrefined and unpracticed machines build audio character or just shitty music. It's been estimated that equal parts tightness, feel, and looseness tend to do nicely. If we may guess, our ratio appears favorable."

Coalesce has posted the following update online;
"Hey, quick update on what’s going in over here in the coalesce circle…
"1. Our new years show with Mac lethal and other Kc acts was a total blast. We feel recharged and ready to start stabbing our guitars, drums, and so on and so forth at something new this year. thanks KC, it was real fun. Loved watching all your drunk fights late at night too. Especially the guy who got pummeled by 3 fat chicks. word.
"2. Looks like the BBC sessions got sidetracked by lots of paperwork and legal garbage which is too bad, because that was us at one of our finest moments. But, the reprint of Give Them Rope on Cd and vinyl is moving forward under the Relapse banner and Ingram is hard at work getting all the pieces together. The original masters from 1996 were thought lost forever until he found them in a box with some Star Wars toys.
"So, lucky you, we’re going to do our best to Un-George-lucas-ify Give them rope by having the cd come with 2 discs, the 1996 version on disc 1, and the 2002 version on disc 2, and absolutely NO FUCKING SPECIAL FEATURES. Just both versions of the record so you can play the one that gives you the most street cred with your friends, and toss the other. We promise not to make a big hooplah about it, we just want that record to stay in print so that it doesn’t get lost on a real format forever. ie: your blog is not a real format asshole, neither is a media fire link (that’s broken too by the way. get it fixed).
"So in short, there’s gas in the tank, and we are feeling inspired. Deal with it."

March 24 – Tokyo, Japan - Club Quattro
March 25 - Osaka, Japan - Club Quattro
