Germany's Burial Vault has checked in with the following update about the band's upcoming activity:
"Hey folks, it is quite a long time since we wrote our last blog. If you thought that nothing's going on in the Burial Vault-camp, you were wrong.

Dread the Forsaken has issued the following announcement about streaming the band's entire "Unbound" album online:
"The entire Dread the Forsaken - 'Unbound' CD has been launched for streaming at Geek Radio. Just go to this location to stream the entire CD free of charge.

Montana based "mountain metal" act Throne of Malediction recently re-recorded its debut full-length album "Ceremonial Blood," which is set for release later this year. A pre-mastered version of the re-recorded song "Red Death" is now available both for streaming and as a free download through the band's Reverbnation page.
Throne of Malediction also recently posted a pre-mastered version of the re-recorded track "The Only One." Details on that song can be found at this location. The album's release date will be announced when it is made available.
Guwahati, India based metal act Weeping Roses is currently streaming the band's debut single "Labyrinth of Lies" online. The song can be heard or downloaded for free via the Weeping Roses Reverbnation profile. The band also commented:
"Weeping Roses a 5 piece metal core band hails from Guwahati. For the last three years Weeping Roses has been performing at most of the college fests and recently they have released their debut single Labyrinth of Lies."

Rabbits has posted another new track, titled "Duck, The Pigs," from the band's forthcoming Relapse debut "Lower Forms" online now via AlarmPress.com at this location. Rabbits has previously posted the track “Burn, Sun, Burn” on the band's Facebook page.
"Lower Forms" is set for a February 15th North American release date (February 28th internationally). Rabbits recorded Lower Forms at the Type Foundry in Portland, OR with Jeremy Romagna and Lauren Newman.
Shadowside has checked in with the following update about recording new material:
"Hello rockers! Shadowside are right now at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, busy with recordings of their upcoming album. In charge of the production is Fredrik Nordström, one of the most respected Rock and Metal producers nowadays. As well as playing guitar for Dream Evil, Nordström is also known for his works with At the Gates, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Soilwork, Everygrey, Bring me the Horizon and many others.
"Recording process is progressing well. All drum parts are finished and as of this moment they have begun working on guitars. The release date has not been set yet but the album should be available in Spring/Summer 2011 under SHP Records, North American label distributed by Universal Music that signed a worldwide deal with Shadowside for the release of this material, right before a long European tour as W.A.S.P.'s special guests that lasted nearly 2 months and went through 17 countries. On those performances, Dani Nolden (vocals), Raphael Mattos (guitars), Ricardo Piccoli (bass) and Fabio Buitvidas (drums) played 'Gag Order,' one of the songs that are going to be on this new CD. Singapore's Rudra has issued the following announcement about the release date of the band's new album:

North Texas death metal outfit The Famine has posted the third clip in a series of behind-the-scenes video blogs online in anticipation of the forthcoming album, "The Architects of Guilt." The video, which can be viewed below, was filmed during The Famine’s summer 2010 recording sessions. "The Architects of Guilt" will hit stores on February 15th, 2011.

Polish death metal act Decapitated has revealed that it will be entering RG Studio in Gdansk, Poland on February 9, 2011 to begin the recording of its fifth studio album. The new album is set for a late 2011 release through Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2006's "Organic Hallucinosis" will be produced by Wacek Kieltyka and engineered by Malta Arkadiusz Malczewski. Drums will be recorded with Daniel Bergstrand who will also handle the album's mixing duties.
Decapitated's as-yet-untitled new album was voted one of the "Top 25 Most Anticipated Albums of 2011" in Decibel magazine’s February 2011 issue which is available now.
Swedish technical metal act Meshuggah recently took part in a video interview with Decibel Magazine where it discussed the writing process for its as-yet-untitled forthcoming album. You can view the video clip below:
Florida death metal veterans Six Feet Under have posted new footage online taken from its forthcoming live DVD release. The new DVD, titled "Wake The Night! Live In Germany," was filmed during the band's recent headline appearance at Germany's Party.San Open Air. "Wake The Night! Live In Germany" is set for release on February 1st, 2011 in North America through Metal Blade Records.
