Hatebreed Posts Second Track-By-Track Video
Now that new Hatebreed CD "The Concrete Confessional" has been released and fans can get deep into every one of those 13 songs, a new track-by-track video comes online that features Jamey Jasta revealing the stories behind another four gems in the collection. Nuclear Blast also comments:
"'From Grace We've Fallen' is a throw-back to the era when bands combined metal with hardcore before the term 'metalcore' had been coined. It's a true 'crossover' song with its apocalyptic lyrics that examine the destruction of values, or morals, of the environment.
"If there's one overall message on this album, it's to get off the computer, put the iPhone or iPad down, quit arguing on Facebook, and have a real conversation with someone, communicate with people in your community, start solving problems on your own. People are being manipulated by the media to such a degree these days, that we are way too close to the reality of 'Us Against Us.'
"Nostalgia, looking back at another time is a fun thing, but not when it's where you live every day. 'Remember When' asks the question, 'if you're too obsessed with the past, how can you be in the present or live in the future?' The best times are now. More...
Slomatics Posts "Electric Breath"
Irish sludge group Somatics just released a video for the new track "Electric Breath." The song is taken from the band's forthcoming album "Future Echo Returns," which will be released in September via Black Bow Records on vinyl and compact disc.
Pre-order "Future Echo Returns" over here. The band also commented on the new track: "This song encapsulates a lot of the themes we covered on the album - evolution, otherness and destiny. Our intention is to combine nihilism with euphoria, so if there's anyone out there who feels particularly happy about our doomed fate, then we wrote this song for you." More...
Santa Cruz Posts New Song
Santa Cruz just premiered brand new single "Skydiving Without a Parachute," which can be heard below.
"We wanted to release a little bit different new single than a kick ass, super fast rock song with shitloads of shredding," the band said about the new track. "Even though we've got the screaming guitar leads and bigger-than life chorus, we slowed the tempo down a bit and played some beautiful chords and lovely notes for you, with acoustic guitar and piano."
They continued, "The lyrics are about how life feels when you don't know where you're going, what's gonna happen next, or how you're supposed to feel when you're living on the edge all the time. In that moment, it feels like you're skydiving without a parachute." More...
Subterranean Disposition Releases New Video
Subterranean Disposition’s new album, entitled “Contagiuum and the Landscapes of Failure” is less than a month away and now a video clip for “All Roads Lead to Perdition” has come online and can be viewed below.
Terry Vainoras of Subterranean Disposition comments: "'All Roads Lead To Perdition' touches lyrically on many facets of our decline as a species that could attribute to an extinction event or apocalypse in our lifetimes. To me the tone of the music invokes a similar feeling when reading Cormac Macarthy’s 'The Road' - a post apocalyptic journey down that road to hell, so I have tried to combine that feeling with the lyric concepts in an open to interpretation way, following the dynamics of the music very close visually on its long trip, from ignorance to disorder, death and beyond."
The new album's track listing is as follows:
1. Hungry Ghosts on Rotten Soil
2. Wooden Kimono Fixative
3. Embittered
4. All Roads Lead to Perdition
5. A lifelong Slumber
6. Aggressors Clothed as Victims More...
Incite Posts 360 Degree Video "Life's Disease"
Incite released brand new album "Oppression" in late April via Minus Head Records. The album features the track "Life's Disease," which Incite is bringing to life today via a new 360º virtual reality video.
Video director Robert Sexton states, "Incite's 'Life's Disease' is the first-ever concept-driven heavy metal video shot in VR. We trapped the audience in various 360º environments where we built an occult underworld packed with imagery that's designed to whip viewers into a state of frenzy. The visual action is designed to draw attention to specific details of the narrative and performance, but the audience can also explore the space on their own terms.
"VR is defining the future of both shared viewer experiences and storytelling. We're pioneers in this space. Every piece of content we create forces us to reinvent everything we know about filmmaking and how an audience interacts with a story." More...

Cloak Releasing Self-Titled EP
On Samhain of 2015, Cloak entered Rising Tide Studios with Anthony Lunn to record a self-titled debut EP, which is being released via Boris Records on June 20.
"In the Darkness, the Path" is a crushing mid-paced track that is by far the band's heaviest, while "The Hunger" presents an eerie, ghastly sound to close the record off. The lyrical concepts for each are just as important as the music itself, focusing on the spiritual transformation that opposes what most would deem as earthly truths. The result of the recording is one of pure chaos that haunts you well after the music is over.
Cloak invites the listener to destroy your perception, open your hearts to the darkness, and venture to venomous depths! More...

California's Night Demon is stoked to present a live video for the band's deliciously nostalgic take on the Golden Earring classic, "Radar Love." Night Demons' Jarvis Leatherby comments:
"Radar Love is a cover rarely played by the band. It first appeared as a live version on the expanded edition of our first EP from the first ever Night Demon show. The only other time it was performed was at the drummer of Golden Earring's club in The Hague, Netherlands on our last European tour.
"We had a recent request in Cleveland from one of our most diehard fans 'Jim Nostra-Demon Bartek' to bust it out live for him. The video proof is here, and the song has since found a regular spot in the Night Demon set for the remaining dates of the Final Curse tour."
