Svärta Releasing "Sepultus"
Svärta is gearing up to drop "Sepultus" this Summer via Aeternitas Tenebrarum, with the label commenting:
"An adrenaline rush, an outburst of rage broken by darkly peaceful moments is where 'Sepultus' manifest the personality of this act from Sweden. The melodic lines are buried into an apparently chaotic aggression able to overwhelm the listener, surrounding the space in a growing maelstrom.
"Svarta does no simply draw a darkly persuasive form of aggression but translate also the obscure essence of the avantgardish mood of band like Ved Buens Ende, Dodheimsgard 'Satanic Art' era in a dynamic form.
"In the extreme coexistence of those elements mid tempo are mostly banned from the horizon. A no compromise attitude aesthetic made of black & white contrasts that emphasizes a peculiar perception & feeling that slowly arouse the listener, an equilibrium made by the opposites." More...

"Back home from a massive and successful tour! However, once again we have to realize that things don't always go as planned with this blog.
"Too little time, too many other distractions, bad internet connections etc. etc. resulted in zero updates here. Well yeah it sucks, but watta hell.... For the next tour we should maybe hire a (sober) writer who could come along and report what's going on. Or something like that....
"Anyway, here you can at least check out a few photos from the 10-day madness which left Europe in ruins.
"Until next time, see you in hell. Ugh!"

Skinless Streaming "Barbaric Proclivity"
In just two weeks, reanimated New York death metal miscreants Skinless will lacerate ears with the sadistic grooves of "Only The Ruthless Remain."
In celebration of its official detonation next month, today ye olde MetalSucks hurls forth the world-collapsing sounds of closing pounder, "Barbaric Proclivity."
"It's the kind of song that I love for its raw intensity," relays vocalist Sherwood Webber bluntly. "It's a true-to-form, knuckle-dragger. Fuck technicality; fuck beats-per-minute. If you want a raw, heavy, New York style skull crusher, this one is for you, and will beat the rest into submission."

Power Streaming "Cageless"
Twelve Gauge Records presents the July 10th release of the new Power EP "Heavy Muscle." Today you can also check out the new single "Cageless" below, courtesy of PunkNews.org. Twelve Gauge Records also comments:
"From Bremerton, Washington, a small Navy town right across the sound from Seattle, Power is one of the Pacific Northwest's most legit hardcore punk bands of today. Sincerity counts in hardcore, and Power has it in spades. When frontman Evan Somerhiser belts out 'I don't have the patience to sit / Can't focus for shit' on 'Cageless,' he sings it like he means it. When he screams 'If I owe you money when I die, you can suck my dick / Unless you were a friend then just hit up my fucking kids,' on the EP's opener, '$uck It,' there is no doubt this is his actual last will and testament.
"As negative as some of these lyrics sound, the overriding Power vibe is one of live-for-now reckless abandon. The cover photo is not staged – that's Somerhiser at a backyard party in Bremerton. The Power boys have been living the life for years. All best friends since their early teens, they ran DIY venue Tiki House in Bremerton for a decade, hosting scores of touring bands along the way. Helloween Releases New Video
Helloween will release 15th studio album "My God-Given Right" on May 29th (EU), June 1st (UK), and June 2nd (US).
Today, Helloween premieres a new music video for "My God-Given Right" - check it out below, courtesy of Blabbermouth.net. Director Oliver Sommer (AVA Studios) comments:
"The story tells itself with the first look on the artwork: it seems to be a film still and you only have to press the play button… So the female protagonist flees - reminiscences to different (post)apocalyptic films and stories are deliberated - from an army of robotic pumpkin soldiers through an empty world. On the other side, the band performs in frightfully beautiful, rocked out ambience.
"When the tough girl realizes that she won't escape, she turns around and kills her chasers with a grenade which looks like the torch from the Statue of Liberty… it is immersed in snow on the cover artwork and in sand in the clip. Our post-apocalyptic world is a white desert, which exists in reality in Germany. The industrial disaster area, our hero is fleeing in and the band is performing in, is an incredible and giant area of the ex-steelworks (heavy metal!) Maxhütte - both locations are real wastelands…!? More...

Added Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler: "Finally joining forces with Nuclear Blast Entertainment outside of North America is something Lamb Of God is excited to finally see happen. We first met back in 1997 - almost signed then, but have been flirting ever since! It's now time for a new chapter for us to connecting with our friends and fans overseas, which is long overdue! See you all very soon - with a nasty new album!"

Rosetta Releasing "Quintessential Ephemera"
Rosetta formed in Philadelphia in 2003 and the band's first two full-lengths, 2005's "The Galilean Satellites" and 2007's "Wake/Lift," pulled together elements from 90s hardcore, drone, doom, and atmospheric sludge metal.
With the release of "A Determinism of Morality" in 2010, the band traded improvisation for a tighter and meaner sound. Leaving the space themes behind, the album focused on retaining melodic sophistication while honing a confrontational urgency.
After concluding a decade-long partnership with Translation Loss Records in 2013, Rosetta went fully independent and quietly released "The Anaesthete," a self-funded, pay-as-you-wish download on Bandcamp. More...
Symphony X Announces New Album "Underworld"
New Jersey’s progressive metal masters Symphony X are set to release the brand new, ninth studio album called "Underworld" on July 24th via Nuclear Blast Records.
Symphony X have triumphed, creating a panoramic “album rock” experience in an era cursed with diminishing attention spans. “This new one is about the song, really crafting each one on its own, to be as strong as it could be” says Michael Romeo, chief writer in the band, and proprietor of The Dungeon, the tricked-out studio in which the album was crafted, newly equipped with the latest in technology required to execute the band’s famous symphonic and orchestrated touches.
“Musically, 'Underworld' has things reminiscent of the bands previous albums but this one definitely has its own individuality,” stated Michael. “Every element added was in service of the song, so the album flows and becomes a total listening experience from start to finish. Every song is to-the-point and fine-tuned, with us paying a lot of attention to the hooks, voices, riffs, and keeping the interest and the energy high for the entire record. It is heavy and aggressive as fuck when it needs to be, yet soaring and emotional at other times. I think the balance is just right. It had to have all the elements of what we normally would do, just tweaked up a notch and really fine-tuned. You know, industry people have talked about how we’ll never see a complete album again, and that idea. I wanted to defend the reputation of the album, and really try to make Underworld worth listening to as a whole record. It’s what I love about great individual songs, but still an album experience. I don’t want to sound like I’m preaching, but it was a point we wanted to make. It was about the progression of the whole record. It speeds up here and then it dips down here. It all makes sense together, it all works together and it all flows together.” More...

Certainly a strong influence in my work for Exorcism. Ronnie James Dio your music lives on and on and on … it’s heaven and hell." More...
Terror Discovers "The Solution"
Terror is currently streaming “The Solution,” the first taste of the band's most venomous and angriest album to date, "The 25th Hour," coming August 7th. Discover "The Solution" below.
On the track, Terror vocalist Scott Vogel offers, “We’re very glad to finally get a new song off 'The 25th Hour' out. This is the hardest hitting song that we’ve had in a while. The lyrics are about children that had grown up in households that are negative, violent, and destructive to their innocence. As the cycle continues, they soon will too become bitter and aggressive in their lives.” More...
Fuck The Facts Releasing New Album
Canadian grindcore outfit Fuck The Facts announces its return today with latest album "Desire Will Rot," set to be unleashed on August 25th via the band's own indie label Noise Salvation.
This will be the first Fuck The Facts full-length since 2011's "Die Miserable" and follows the band's recent split EP with Fistfuck along with 2014's "Abandoned" and 2013's "Amer" EPs. Recorded and mixed by FTF guitarist Topon Das at his Apartment 2 recording studio in Ottawa, ON, Das comments on the upcoming album:
"Even though we've been consistently releasing new music over the past few years, we haven't put out a full-length album since 'Die Miserable.' I love the EPs that we've released since then, but this album is long overdue and was initially intended to come out much earlier.
"Our 2013 EP 'Amer' is actually the B-sides of 'Desire Will Rot,' and the original plan was for them to be released together (like we did with 'Die Miserable' and the 'Misery' EP). Over the past 12 months we've only played a handful of shows, and this has finally allowed us the time to not only complete this new album, but also our 'Abandoned' EP that came out in October last year, and the split with Fistfuck, which has just been released.
"Obviously some similarities to the 'Amer' EP are to be expected on this new record, but I think 'Desire Will Rot' is also very similar to our 2008 album Disgorge Mexico in sound and feel. For me, 'Disgorge Mexico' is the album that really defined what I wanted to do with Fuck The Facts, so to finally have a record that I feel has matched that, is something I'm very excited about." Gyre Posts Drum Playthrough
N.Y./N.J. progressive metal outfit Gyre has teamed up with GearGods.net to launch a drum playthrough video of the song "I Release" from the band's new "Moirai" EP.
Stream the new video, courtesy of Gyre's Pablo Carpio, in the player below. "Moirai" can be streamed and purchased now at at Bandcamp here. The band also commented:
"This album is a resurgence - a reminder that it's never too late to truly awaken your potential in life and control your own fate. We can guide ourselves to this realization by expressing our passion and doing what we love. This can be different for people, but it is through the act of creation we feel our self-worth and purpose bloom.
"'Moirai' is a term for the three sisters of fate. It ties this third album together. Two sisters represent birth and death, inevitable forces beyond an individual's control. We are Lachesis, the second sister...the story in between. If we want to, if we decide...we can write our own story. Ultimately, we are all completely responsible for our own actions and emotions." Wormed Enters The Studio
Sci-fi technical death metal group Wormed has entered Sadman studios in Madrid to begin record a forthcoming 3rd studio album, and first for Season of Mist.
Pictures of the ongoing recording process are available at the official Wormed Facebook page here. Regarding the upcoming album, the band comments:
"The material we are recording for the new album can be described as an epic and supermassive attack of nanomachines, molecular blast beats in warp drive, riffing algorithms from the pulsar and non-organic voices from galaxy's central black hole, closing the trilogy. A prequel that reveals the events leading up to Krighsu's mission.
"Prepare your brain structures for one of the most extreme acoustic pressures ever written by Wormed. Will your human neurons withstand the pressure?"
The Juliet Massacre Premieres Full Album
Originally formed in 2006, dual-vocal death metal sextet The Juliet Massacre is prepping for some serious human abuse this coming May 26th to follow debut album "Pray For An Afterlife."
Not content to wait for the apocalypse next week, the band teamed up with us at Metalunderground.com to premiere the "Human Abuse" album in full today. Get your fill of crushing heaviness and a trade off of guttural death growls and those infamous pig squeals below.
If you dig it (and why the hell WOULDN'T you dig it?), be sure to pre-order at this location. Vocalist Antomega also shares the following about the new album:
“Its long gestation period has meant that the successor to ‘Pray for an Afterlife’ appears to be faster, more brutal, more intense, but also deeper. We have written about how much the mankind likes to abuse and destroy everything, even itself, and how all this is leading us to an inevitable collapse.
"These are all tangible things that each of us savor every day and against which ordinary people can do little or nothing. ‘Human Abuse’ can be considered as an anthem to what mankind should never be. We are totally convinced that this new work will satisfy all fans of the genre and, in some way, will satisfy even the most discerning ears. We are so excited to feel the response from all the metalheads.” More...

We are all tired but the album is now ready to be unleashed so we only wish to go ahead and finally present Tearless and their music to the world.
