Chariots Of The Gods Returns With New Single

After a small hiatus and lineup changes, Ottawa, ON band Chariots Of The Gods returns in 2016 full force with a new single and an upcoming album.

New single "Into Oblivion" - featuring a guitar solo from Pascal Jobin of The Agonist - is ready to annihilate your ear drums below.

This is just a precursor to upcoming album "Ages Unsung," set to be released later this year to follow 2013 debut album 'Tides of War." If you want to pre-order the album and help out with production costs, head over to the crowd funding campaign here.

Chariots of The Gods comments: "After all this time of not releasing new music, we are really excited and proud to finally present you some new material from the new lineup. With the coming of this new record, we thought that a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter could not only help us face the financial burden of the project, but also give us a way to engage with our fans and gauge the interest in the project.

"Unlike many other crowdfunding platforms, a Kickstarter campaign is 'all or nothing,' which mean we don’t get funded unless we reach our goal. Our goal for this campaign is to get 3000$ to help us with the costs of production and promotion. We hope you'll enjoy our new material as well as the perks that we've prepared for you!" More...

Celestial Ruin Streaming "Pandora" EP

Combining a heavenly destruction of heavy riffs with beautiful melodies, Vancouver, BC's Celestial Ruin will release the "Pandora" EP on May 20th. Today the entire mini-album has come online ahead of time - check it out below!

Vocalist Larissa Dawn comments: “All the lyrics on 'Pandora' were written about unleashing destruction into the world. Chaos caused by all the pain that negative emotions can create. A sort of cause and effect scenario. Each of the songs tells a different story and explores what happens when you make the wrong decision or fail to make any decision at all. Remaining stagnant and letting the world collapse in on you.

"The only song that kind of swerves from this theme is 'No Quarter,' this song is more of a movie told through song. It follows the story of infamous pirate Davy Jones and the battle that ensues between him and a rival ship."
