Sylvatica Reveals New Album Details
Motivated by a desire to explore their own artistic style and venture into new territories, Sylvatica embarked on the creation of their third album, titled "Cadaver Synod." This album delves into the dark tales of the Middle Ages, incorporating elements such as the haunting sounds of church organs, theremin, and Gregorian chants. The result is a set of gloomy and atmospheric compositions, enriched by the addition of Hammond organs and synthesizers, evoking a nostalgic 70s vibe with occasional doom influences. The production on this album is intentionally rawer compared to their previous works, emphasizing the organic and atmospheric aspects while embracing a more playful approach. Despite these changes, the band’s distinctive classic sound remains present, revitalized with a fresh and exciting twist.
"Cadaver Synod" will be released on LP (black vinyl, limited to 300 copies) and digital formats via Mighty Music on October 20th, 2023. Pre-orders are available here. The first single from the album, "Titivillus", will be out on Friday next week.

Graveyard Announces New Album, "6"

The band comments: "Finally it’s here, ready to be harvested and enjoyed like the forbidden fruit in your backyard. We are very, very happy being able to share album number 6 with you all very soon. Peace out."
Tracklisting:
1. Godnatt

Nervosa To Release New Album In September
Thrash metal frontrunners Nervosa have announced their fierce fifth full-length, "Jailbreak," out September 29, 2023 via Napalm Records! This will be the first Nervosa album with guitarist and founding member Prika Amaral on vocal duties, and showcasing the band’s mighty new lineup completed by the immensely talented and well experienced Michaela Naydenova on drums, Hel Pyre on bass and Helena Kotina on guitars. You can pre-order the album here.
Following the blistering standalone single "Endless Ambition," with "Seed Of Death," Nervosa serves up a second taste of what’s to come. Starting off with a beautiful, epic intro, "Seed Of Death" features philosophical lyrics that explore questions about the never-ending cycle of life, grabbing an omnipresent issue relevant to all of us. Check out the captivating official music video below!
Prika Amaral on the new single and album:
"I'm very happy with the result of this song and our new album. I always wanted to have a song like this but it never happened for different reasons and now we can finally make it happen. Also, we were able to take even more risks and do new things. With two guitars the doors open to a whole new world of possibilities, in fact Nervosa had two guitars in the beginning, but then we decided to go with one guitar for logistical reasons, since it would be easier to move with one less person for tours. Now Nervosa has a much bigger structure that allowed this addition, and we are really enjoying this moment of the band. The process of writing this record was the most fun and brought the most musicality, enriching the band."
Helena Kotina adds:
"I think 'Jailbreak' is Nervosa's most revolutionary record, both musically and lyrically. It was a very challenging process but at the same time very constructive. We were able to take care of every detail until we obtained the best result." More...
Cvinger Releases New Music Video
With four albums under their belts already, Slovenia’s Cvinger returns seven years later to take listeners back into black metal darkness with "Doctrines By The Figures of Crnobog." Originally creating death metal, they have diverged fully into the black metal underworld, playing festivals in Europe among some of the biggest names in the genre. This new album explores the existence of man in a Slavic spiritual realm whose body and soul are split during the rites and incantations. It is a journey of lust, madness, faith, and sorrow and questioning the existence of its mortality, and the first chance to dig your teeth into this aggressive offering is with a music video for the title track.
The band comments: "The album was written after meditation seances in a cave of a prehistoric hunter. It is the fastest and most brutal album that we have created till now. The new album/single 'Doctrines By The Figures of Crnobog' will be released by the Polish record label Via Nocturna on the 28th of August 2023. With the new creation, we are paying homage to the Slavic old faith, especially the occult and the dark aspect of it. The band has gone through some lineup changes, and by bringing in the new blood, we have changed the perspective of creating and redefining new hellish symphonies. Soon live rituals will follow in support of the new album." More...

We last played there in 2015 and love the outdoor amphitheater as well as the metal family atmosphere on the site and backstage. One of the highlights for me was watching Brian Downey’s Alive and Dangerous from the side of the stage. Here’s 'Thrashing Rage', a cut from our May 27th , 2023 Rock Hard Festival show, filmed by the legendary Rockpalast during our Morgöth Tales tour, which is not over yet!
