URNE Premiere New Single & Music Video "Be Not Dismayed" From Upcoming New Album "Setting Fire To The Sky"

British sludge metal outfit URNE have announced their new album, Setting Fire To The Sky, which is set for release on January 30th via Spinefarm. Produced by Justin Hill (SikTh), the band’s third full-length was mixed by Johann Meyer and mastered by Tony Lindstrom.

Speaking on the album’s ambitious spirit, vocalist/bassist Joe Nally remarked, “I feel like I’m in Metallica in 1988 with what we do.” Whether that bold claim holds true is now up for debate with today’s debut of a video for the latest single, Be Not Dismayed.

Nally added the following on the track:

“I wrote the lyrics to ‘Be Not Dismayed’ after spending a few summers playing some of the best metal festivals around and seeing the buzz that fans would have by being there. On people’s faces, you could see they were experiencing pure elation, and I guess it took me back to that feeling I used to have going to shows. I clearly remember the feeling I had when I went to see Slayer for the first time at the London Astoria. I went through it all. In the end, it was the moment that set me on a path to where I am now.”

In other news, URNE have expanded their live lineup with Kurtis Bagley joining as a second guitarist. He will make his onstage debut with the band at their September 13th show at the Camden Assembly in London.
