Ghoul's "Dungeon Bastards" Hits The Charts
"Dungeon Bastards" is the newest studio recording from the notorious Creepsylvanian hooded menaces in Ghoul.
Released via Tankcrimes on July 29th, the record devoured Billboard Charts upon its first week of release debuting at #11 on the Heatseekers Chart, #13 on the Top Vinyl Albums Chart, #13 on the Hard Rock Chart, and #27 on the Independent Albums Chart.
Not only does "Dungeon Bastards" serve as the first Ghoul record to enter the Billboard Charts, it's also the first-ever charting album of Tankcrimes' extended discography.
Ghoul's Digestor commented: "Instead of noting the obvious and stunning decline of the recording industry, I want to focus on the positive aspects of Ghoul charting. Mainly, that our newfound industry clout will allow us to crush our enemies, humiliate our friends, and generally live lives of consequence-free skullduggery from now until the end of time. Which should be somewhere around the beginning of your American month of November."
Adds Tankcrimes head Scotty Heath, "I'm absolutely thrilled!" More...

Vornth Releasing "Black Pyres"
Iron Tyrant has set October 15th as the international release date for Vornth's second album, "Black Pyres." In 2014, Vornth's self-titled debut album introduced these Swedes to the international metal scene with a nuclear-powered bang.
"Black Pyres," by comparison to Vornth's debut, is a punchier and more concise affair, reining in some of the self-titled album's more elongated excursions for a judiciously paced 'n' patient gallop, fists pounding and heads banging in obeisance to all that is evil.

Bloody Hammers Posts New Video
Bloody Hammers is a duo hailing from the mountains of Transylvania County, NC. BH was originally formed as a studio only project with vocalist/songwriter Anders Manga producing and recording all instruments.

In late 2013, Anders was approached by Napalm Records, resulting in a collaboration that saw the release of "Under Satan's Sun" the next year. Through the snowy winter of 2015, Anders began writing again, but this time took a much darker and atmospheric direction.

The concept album features an extended song cycle on themes of time, each song a different scale and perspective. Given its subject matter, it therefore seems fitting that this project took the band over five years in the studio to complete.
"Years In The Garden Of Years" is mastered with audiophile precision by Grammy winning engineer Bob Katz, and the deluxe CD release features cover art and booklet illustrations from surrealist painter Dan May. The album is to be released on September 30th through Laser's Edge and will feature this track listing;

Since its inception, Almah - led by former Angra singer Edu Falaschi - has been receiving attention worldwide as one of the most significant bands from Brazil. Falaschi has sold more than 1 million albums in his 25 year career.
Today, the band announced the fifth studio release entitled "E.V.O." The album will be issued worldwide next month. "E.V.O. was recorded in São Paulo, Brazil at IMF studios by Tito Falaschi and was mixed and mastered by Damien Rainaud (Fear Factory, Dragonforce, Baby Metal, etc) at Mix Unlimited in Los Angeles, California/USA.
This will be a conceptual album, which is based in the evolution of mankind's mind and soul during the new age which the world is about to live....the Age of Aquarius. Falaschi visited different subjects which connect to the main concept, creating both positive lyrics and total album atmosphere.
Musically, "E.V.O" brings forth a fresh and powerful album, with all the modern and heavy aspects of every Almah release, along with something more. The compositions are a pleasant journey between the modern power metal, contemporary rock and progressive metal.
Long time fans will quickly realize that "E.V.O." has a direct connection with the "Rebirth" album from Angra (the first Angra album featuring Falaschi in 2001). In "E.V.O." the vocal lines are very powerful, classical with a higher pitch compared with Almah's previous albums. It's very melodic, clean and more in the bel canto style like the old times.
