Worshipper Streaming "Place Beyond Light"

Boston-based metal band Worshipper will release full-length debut, "Shadow Hymns," on August 26th via Tee Pee Records. Recorded at Q Division, Mad Oak, and Converse Rubber Tracks Studios with producers Benny Grotto (Aerosmith, Orange Goblin) and David Minehan (The Replacements), the LP showcases the group's melodically thunderous sound.

In advance of the LP's release, today new song "Place Beyond the Light" comes online and can be heard below. Worshipper will perform live at the "Shadow Hymns" album release show on September 9th at ONCE Sommerville, in Summerville, MA. The new album's track listing is:

Carnophage Releasing "Monument" Album

The Turkish technical death metal assassins from Carnophage will release their sophomore full-length album via Unique Leader Records this fall.

Titled "Monument," the nine track punisher was recorded by Unsal Ozata at Studio Deep (Burial Invocation, Cenotaph, Decaying Purity, Inhuman Depravity etc.), mixed and mastered by Sasha Borovykh at TsunTsun Productions (Cerebral Effusion, Soils Of Fate, Epicardiectomy, Fleshbomb etc.), and comes adorned in the tormented, Baroque-era influenced cover art of Cihan Engin.

"Monument" will be released September 23rd, 2016 via Unique Leader Records. A song off the release is up below, and the full track listing is as follows:

Alan Robert Releasing Horror Coloring Book

Life Of Agony's Alan Robert (known for comic book series Killogy, Crawl to Me, and Wire Hangers) has a horror-themed coloring book for adults titled "The Beauty of Horror: A GOREgeous Coloring Book" that see an October release from IDW Publishing.

"Bookstores are filled with coloring books for adults, but there's a huge void for the kind of creepy art that horror fans like me want to color, so I decided to create my own," Robert explains. "The world needs a book like this to cut through the mandalas! It's art therapy for the abnormal...and trust me, there are plenty of us."

Black Wizard Gearing Up For U.S. Tour

The Canadian riff-wielding heavy metal/stoner rock faction Black Wizard will take to the streets again later this week on a North American tour supporting Volbeat and Killswitch Engage. The near-month-long trek will trample its way through North America from August 6th through September 9th.

Comments the band: "We are super stoked and humbled that we got asked to do an arena tour with Volbeat and Killswitch Engage. We have never done anything this big can't wait to play these massive crowds every damn night! We have no idea what to expect but we're sounding tighter than ever right now so bring it on!"

Destroyer 666 Announces Mexican Tour

Australia's renegade black/thrash maniacs from Destroyer 666 have announced a new leg of their ongoing "Worldwide Wildfire" tour.

The tour sees the band performing in Germany and continues through Mexico, hitting Guadalajara, Irapuato, Monterrey, Mexico City, and Merida Yucatan before traveling to Norway. A full list of confirmed dates can be found below.

Norway's Indie Recordings proudly announces the launch of an official Bandcamp page. The launch sees over 75 albums and singles from the label's global roster made available for streaming.

Founded in 2005, Indie Recordings is the home to a unique hard rock, hardcore, and metal lineup.The label has released over 100 albums including recordings from Enslaved, Satyricon, 1349, Warduna, El Caco, Kvelertak, Cult Of Luna, and more.

Keenan Adds Extra Book Tour Dates

In lieu of providing any actual info about that never-going-to-happen Tool album, Maynard James Keenan has elected to talk about himself on an upcoming book tour.

Today Keenan added Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco dates to his upcoming "A Perfect Union of Contrary Things" book tour, as well as second readings in Chicago and Washington, D.C. (both events had previously sold out).

Blindead Announces New Album Release

Blindead is gearing up to release fifth full-length album "Ascension" this fall via Mystic Productions, and today the Polish group drops a new track from the release. Check out "Hearts" below.

The material was recorded in July 2015 at Raven Studio with Jan Galbas (Highwave Studio) as co-producer and sound engineer. The vocal recordings, mix, mastering and all final production stages were handled by Jakub Mankowski, who already worked with the band on the "Impulse| EP and "Affliction XXIX II MXMVI" album.

Artwork was handled by Bartek Rogalewicz (Behemoth, Antigama, Odraza), while the first live performance with the band's newly recruited vocalist on board is coming up this Saturday at Castle Party, Bolków Poland.

God Posts Album Trailer

Are you ready to hear God my metal flock? God is multi-layered instrumental progressive metal project gearing up to release debut album "God I" (which I really hope is on this guy's license plate).

A trailer can be heard below for the impending staggered album release. The following press release was also issued:

"This 10 track multi-layered progressive instrumental metal album challenges listeners & viewers to consider what we as humans think about when we read or hear the words God, Evolution, Betrayal, Death, Life, Creation, Denial, Hate, Love and more. Each song title utilizes this concept in a unique video for each song to ask questions rather than force opinions, ideas, concepts on to viewers."

The album will be released in two week intervals starting on August 22nd and running through December 25th, 2016, with one song arriving every other week.

Neurosis Posts Album Trailer

On September 23rd, Neurosis takes a dominant leap with eleventh full-length, "Fires Within Fires." Following 2012's "Honor Found In Decay," the album is a testament both to the history and future of Neurosis.

Knife Hits Releasing "Eris" Album

Knife Hits has announced the September 16th release for debut album "Eris." You can stream the first single, "Descent," in the player below.

Recorded and mixed by Jonathan Nunez of Torche, "Eris" consists of twelve tracks of wounded and rabid hardcore. Formed in Orlando, Florida in 2011, and relocated to Philly and Chicago, Knife Hits consists of members of grind-punkers Backslider, and ex-members of Khann, Republicorpse, and more.

"Eris" is a joint effort between three labels: Dead Tank Records is handling the digital release, and Dead Tank, Hydrogen Man Records, and Give Praise Records are teaming up for the vinyl. The album was mastered by Nick Zampiello (Modern Life Is War, Unsane) and the track listing is as follows:

Parkway Drive Announces North American Tour

Parkway Drive has announced plans to make a triumphant return to North America with headlining dates this fall. Metalcore band We Came As Romans and Canadian group Counterparts will open the shows.

The tour will include festival performances at Sonic Boom, Louder Than Life and Aftershock; which are all already on sale. The remainder of the dates go on sale this Friday, August 5th.

Parkway Drive recently released a digital deluxe version of latest album "Ire' on July 15th. The digital deluxe edition features two brand new tracks: “Devil’s Calling” and “Into the Dark,” plus a remix of “A Deathless Song (featuring Jenna McDougall).” More...

DGM Issues Lyric Video For "Ghost Of Insanity"

Frontiers Music Srl will release the brand new album from Italian prog metal masters DGM, entitled "The Passage," on August 26th.

"The Passage" is DGM's eighth studio album and is the culmination of almost 20 years of hard work that started back in 1997 with the release of the self-produced mini-album, 'Random Access Zone'. The band went through several incarnations and lineup changes during the years, but since singer Mark Basile joined the group in 2007, DGM evolved and developed their sound into what they have now become.

In Vain Issues Game Of Thrones Inspired Video Clip

Spanish metal act In Vain released a music video for the track "King In The North," which you can check out in the player below. The song is taken from the latest "The Little Things That Matter," which was just issued July 31st via Pure Steel Publishing.

"King In The North" is a song based on the "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series (Game of Thrones) by George R. R. Martin.

Psychoprism Issues Music Video For "Creation"

New York power metal act Psychoprism released a new music video for the song "Creation." The song is the title track of the debut full length release, which was issued back on July 22nd via Pure Steel Records.

On "Creation," Psychoprism presents a true mix of heavy metal. From fast power metal songs ('Chronos') to powerful ballads ('Friendly Fire'), the material contains everything a headbanger would want. Opeth Premieres Title Track From Upcoming New CD

Opeth premieres the title track from the its upcoming new album "Sorceress", which will be out in stores September 30th via the band’s own Nuclear Blast Entertainment imprint label, Moderbolaget Records.
