Xtreem Music Inks Deal With In Thousand Lakes, First Full Length LP In 18 Years
Spanish melodic death metal pioneers In Thousand Lakes have inked a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of the long awaited second full length album to come out in early 2017. It will mark 19 years since the debut "Lifeless Waters..."
Formed back in 1996 from the ashes of another melodic death metal act called Dormath, who released the one and only album a year before, In Thousand Lakes survived just three years ('96-'98) and released a demo and "Lifeless Waters..." In 2013, the band reformed followed by the release of the EP "Martyrs of Evolution" in 2014.
Now In Thousand Lakes are working hard on new songs for the second album which will be entitled "Age of Decay." Some of the song titles so far include: “I Rise,” “True North,” “Fall Into the Void,” “Blind Eyes” and “Wolfzeit”.
The music will be in the mold of 90's melodic death metal in the spirit of In Flames, Dark Tranquility and Gardenian, so you can expect melodies blended with heavy and aggressive Swedish-style Death Metal!
More details on the album are expected soon.
