Nominon To Enter the Studio in Two Weeks
Swedish death metal band Nominon has issued the following studio update:
"Today it is two weeks until we'll enter the gates of NECROMORBUS STUDIO in Stockholm with producer Tore Stjerna to start the recordings of what will become the 4th NOMINON album. The song-writing process has been very interesting and intense this time around and we're all amazed on how diverse and extreme the material really ended up. Altogether we've ten new songs and since we feel like it we'll also re-record an old song as well that will be included on the Mini-CD that is set to be released as soon as possible after the recordings are done via DEATHGASM RECORDS (most probably early November). The MCD will feature 3-4 songs and the album will have 9 songs, that's the plan as of now. We've no title set for the new album, or the MCD for that matter, but it'll all be sorted out in time."

This decay is portrayed as oil and gradually submerges the main character as the video unfolds, infecting others in a sick and uncontrollable orgy. The band members are initially contaminated by this oil but experience a state of cleansing as the song progresses to its close.

Dimmu Borgir Comments on Recent Member Firings
Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir have issued the following statement regarding the firings of bassist, Vortex, and keyboard player, Mustis:
"Man, what a shit storm response!
"Too bad all the shit is thrown in the wrong direction.
"Oh well, what else could we expect? We don’t blame you as you still haven’t heard the other side, the band’s side. We have put up with unprofessionalism and bad live performances for years. This couldn’t be ignored anymore as we firmly believe the fans deserve the best on both records and shows.
"First of all, a big thank you to those who still have their own mind intact and believe in the music of the band and not only judge by what is falsely accused in statements posted online by recently fired members based on their ignorance, bitterness and greed. A quite normal human response when being disappointed but we hope you kept in mind the saying that goes: 'Those who scream the loudest have the most to hide…'

Seregon Frontman Checks In

"And here we are then, back in Blighty and back to reality! The last 2 weeks have been a bit of a blur, 7 flights, 3 airports, to many beers consumed to count and 2 awesome shows with the most passionate metalheads I think i've ever met!
"As you may or may not know, the festival we were scheduled to play in Romania, the ROCK CITY FEST was postponed a week before our appearance. Now this left us with 4 flight tickets and a hotel booked for 2 nights out of our own pockets and nowhere to play... but alas, all was not lost! Black Metallers Eastern Front from Ipswich who have played Romania several times offered us an olive branch as they had managed to sort a show in Bucharest at SUBURBIA Metal Club with 3 other awesome Romanian bands.
"The show was just crazy, pit after pit after pit, stage diving left right and centre and your's truly pretending to be Spiderman climbing the lighting rigs and PA Stacks and bailing into the crowd to have some fun! A big thank you to the Eastern Front guys for sorting the show and of course the promoters Kami and Co. at 'Stay Metal Forever' who filled the place with several hundred crazy metalheads and gave us a truly memorable show!
