Reverorum Ib Malacht To Release New Album
Today The Ajna Offensive has announced September 16th as the international release date for the CD version of Reverorum Ib Malacht's second album, "De Mysteriis Dom Christi."
The follow-up to 2011's "Urkaos," the CD version and LP version of "De Mysteriis Dom Christi" will feature entirely different track listings as well as music. The Ajna Offensive also comments:
"Reverorum Ib Malacht originally operated as part of the Swedish 'anti-cosmic' black metal community until members Lundin and Mikael converted to Catholicism around 2009. Lundin was known for his involvement with Dödfödd, Emit, and Ofermod.
"Ever since then, the debate has not been about how captivating and haunting the music is, but about whether or not this band can still be 'black metal.' On De Mysteriis Dom Christi, the band uses the phrase 'Roman Catholic Black Metal.'
"Antagonism reigns. Mysterious, utterly obscure, divergent, murky, lo-if, eerie, transcendental, old, occult: what do all of these adjectives have in common? They not only refer to the music created by Reverorum Ib Malacht, but they are also embody much of what one experiences in those epic cathedrals that plague Christendom."
The CD track listing is as follows:
1. I (3:35)
2. II (9:05)
3. III (3:37)
4. IV (9:01)
5. V (6:52)

Alestorm Announces Piratefest Tour
Alestorm has checked in with the following announcement about the forthcoming Piratefest tour:
"Pirates of Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and England! After the crazy fun time we had performing at Sonisphere Festival, we can now announce that we will be returning to your shores in October 2014 with our very own headlining tour!
"It's been over 2 years since we toured the UK & Ireland, so we wanted to make this one be a wee bit special. We're calling this tour Piratefest, and we're going to be bringing some of our very favourite piratical metal bands from all over the world to party with us for 19 shows.
"Have you ever seen a grown man drink a litre of rum out of his own shoe? Direct support will come from Australia's Lagerstein, a bunch of guys we've had the pleasure of touring with a lot in the past, now in the UK & Ireland for the very first time. Expect badass piratical anthems and liver-destroying on stage antics.
"We will also be joined by Red Rum, from the not-so-distant land of Nottingham, who bring a mandolin fueled pirate party to the show. And opening up all shows will be Rainbowdragoneyes from the USA, the bizzare one-man black metal chiptune project brought to you by Eric W. Brown, otherwise known as the drummer of New Jersey pirate thrashers Swashbuckle. What a party that's gonna be!"

Autumn's Dawn Reveals Full-Length Album Details
Eisenwald has announced September 3rd as the North American release date for "Gone," the debut full-length album from Autumn's Dawn. The label comments:
"Very aptly titled, Gone is a kaleidoscopic plummet into the depths of despair and regret. Upon a foundation of melancholic melody, Autumn's Dawn create a nine-song cycle of dark, emotive energy, dynamically spanning depressive rock, post-black metal, and plenty in between.
"Most of Gone's song titles - 'Until My Heart Corrodes With Rust,' 'Grace of the Grave,' 'When the Sun Sets for the Last Time,' and 'Blank Stare, Dead Eyes' among them - vividly portray its contents, and the bright 'n' balanced production illuminates every shadowy corner.
"Although Gone is Autumn's Dawn's debut album, the Australian duo are hardly newcomers: vocalist/drummer Sorrow is the mastermind behind the critically acclaimed Germ, and did time in cult OZBM bands like Austere, Woods of Desolation, and Nazxul among others. In many ways, Autumn's Dawn in general and Gone in particular can be seen as a more refined version of Grey Waters, a short-lived yet celebrated band of Sorrow; in other ways, one can imagine Sentenced and Mono squaring off with Germ and Austere. Any way you describe it, Gone is the end...and the beginning."
1. The Ashes Of A Life
2. Until My Heart Corrodes With Rust
3. Into The Cold
4. Grace Of The Grave
5. When The Sun Sets For The Last Time

"Wacken 2014/Germany and Woodstock 2014/Poland are certainly the biggest open air festivals in the world in their genre and therefore a worthy stage for Accept.
"Three big brands cross their way on one weekend; each taken separately a highlight with characteristics like: tradition, fan solidarity, and even more up to day as it has ever been before.
"Accept is going to play exclusively these two festivals in front of a gigantic crowd and the band will give the people at the Wacken and Woodstock festival an unforgettable live experience. We are looking forward to this hot weekend full of superlatives in August." More...
Foundations Calling It Quits
U.K. hardcore/metal band Foundations has issued the following announcement about deciding to call it a day:
"Last year we set out to record and release our first album 'Dying Day' sadly this album will never be finished. Sadly we did encounter minor problems whilst recording such as Josh being too ill to get the best of his abilities out. However after speaking with numerous people they suggested we re-recorded our album, so we did. Si and Jew spent weeks re-recording every part of every song with new little changes they were being absolute troopers but the longer everything took the less interest we all had in the band anymore.
"We were playing less and less shows, practicing less as a band and not even hanging out as friends anymore. I think we had all realized it has come to and end but none of us wanted to be the first one to step up.
"These last 3/4 years will be remembered by each member who started this band and who took part in being apart of this band. We've all sweat for this band, bled for this band even fought for this band but not everything works out. More...
