Foundations Calling It Quits, Announces Final Show

U.K. hardcore/metal band Foundations has issued the following announcement about deciding to call it a day:

"Last year we set out to record and release our first album 'Dying Day' sadly this album will never be finished. Sadly we did encounter minor problems whilst recording such as Josh being too ill to get the best of his abilities out. However after speaking with numerous people they suggested we re-recorded our album, so we did. Si and Jew spent weeks re-recording every part of every song with new little changes they were being absolute troopers but the longer everything took the less interest we all had in the band anymore.

"We were playing less and less shows, practicing less as a band and not even hanging out as friends anymore. I think we had all realized it has come to and end but none of us wanted to be the first one to step up.

"These last 3/4 years will be remembered by each member who started this band and who took part in being apart of this band. We've all sweat for this band, bled for this band even fought for this band but not everything works out.

"This is the end for Foundations but it is not the end of any of us doing what we love. We'd like to thank each and everyone who has liked our page, watched our videos, listened to our music, bought a tshirt, came to see us at a show, who put us on a show. Personally thank you's go out to Make A Scene Festival we have played there every year as a band, it and know one has ever let us down. Every member of that team has helped us in one way or another which we are great full for. Ten Feet Tall (wont let me tag) have supported us through the years putting us on various local shows and they never failed to make us feel like we deserved to be there. Big shout out to Actions To Onslaught they took us out on our first tour with them, we couldn't have had a better time with such amazing lads.

"So there are just a couple of things left... Will we play a last show? Will we release any tracks from the album?

"We have two shows left. One of which is in Bishop Aukland 24th July at the Merry Monk. Our final show will be at Make A Scene Festival in Middlesbrough October 5th which we will be playing a couple of unheard songs from the album and a few oldies.

"Again thank you to everyone who showed their support. It means a lot!"
