SikTh Announces 1st U.S. Tour
British progressive metal group SikTh will embark on its first ever U.S. tour next month as main support for Periphery on the "Sonic Unrest" tour. Chron and Toothgrinder round out the package for the 23-city trek, beginning August 4th in Raleigh, N.C. A full list of dates can be seen below.
SikTh vocalist Mikee Goodman comments: "Touring America has always been a huge goal for SikTh; up to this point it hasn't been possible, but we're pleased to announce we are finally coming over as direct support to Periphery in August! August is a significant month in our career as it marks the 16th anniversary of our first release ('The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait for Something Wild'). We've taken our time, but this is a great tour and opportunity to play for our very patient fans in the U.S. and also make new fans!"

Something Is Waiting Streams New Album
Something Is Waiting's debut album, "The Something Is Waiting Band," is out now on The Path Less Traveled Records and can be heard in full below.
The group comprises ex-members of Chicago bands Jar'd Loose and (Lone) Wolf and Cub, as well as guitarist Pete Grossman, the co-owner/engineer at Bricktop Recording (Weekend Nachos, Harm's Way, Like Rats).
"The Something Is Waiting Band" was recorded and mixed by Pete Grossman at Bricktop, and mastered by Carl Saff (Red Fang, Coliseum). Catch the band live:

Kevlar Posts "Oblivion" Video
Pennsylvania's Kevlar has released an official video for "Oblivion," taken off of the April-released "Home Is Where The Heart Is" EP. The clip was was directed by Zach Kubiak and filmed in Erie, PA. Check it out below.
Vocalist Kelci Margaret comments: “This song is about struggling with your emotions and wanting them to just leave and thinking that feeling nothing would be better than feeling everything, but finding that's not the case.

Blackmore Posts Guitar Playthrough
Yesterday marked the release of new Blackmore album "Neo." The primarily Armenian-American band, featuring Greek lead vocalist K'noup of global rock artists Viza, also just released a new playthrough video.

Noctem Unveils New Album
Iberian extreme metal outfit Noctem is excited to reveal the details of fourth studio album "Haeresis" today. The album is scheduled for release on September 30th via Prosthetic Records (N.America, UK/EU) and Art Gates Records (Spain),
"Haeresis" consists of ten brutally punishing tracks which conceptually delve into the dark history of Spain. Artwork was completed by Seth Siro Anton Art (Septicflesh, Moonspell, Behemoth) and depicts an epic and grotesque display of obscene torture extracted from the Spanish inquisition.
The band collectively proclaimed: "This record is proof that a band like us can keep evolving with time. It looks, sounds, smells and tastes different from anything we've ever done while keeping our original essence in every track. We're sure that any fan of Extreme Metall will be satisfied with this new opus.|

Monument Of Misanthropy New Drumcam Clip Posted
Austrian-French brutal death metal unit Monument Of Misanthropy premieres a new live drumcam playthrough video, showcasing drummer Julien Helwin blasting through the song "Entering A New State". The track is taken from the band's latest album "Anger Mismanagement" and the footage was captured in March 2016 during Monument Of Misanthropy's "The Tyrants Of Death European Tour 2016", supporting NYC death metal veterans of Suffocation and San Diego deathgrind juggernauts of Cattle Decapitation.
Monument Of Misanthropy's next live gig will be on August 18, 2016 at Austria's long-running metal underground festival Kaltenbach Open Air (K:O:A) 2016 which will take place between 18th and 20th August 2016. Tickets for the three days lasting festival can be ordered online at Ticketmaster HERE.

A.M.S.G. Premieres Pre-Release Full-Album Stream
Canadian black metal terrorist unit A.M.S.G. premieres the pre-release full-album stream of the band's upcoming new album "Hostis Universi Generis", which will be out in stores via Profound Lore Records on July 29. The CD edition is now available for pre-order from the label’s Bandcamp page. A vinyl edition is expected in late August. Hostis Universi Generis features artwork by Jef Whitehead of Leviathan.
