Grave Desecrator Streams Full New Album
Cult death/black metal horde Grave Desecrator is streaming vicious forthcoming full-length album "Dust to Lust" online in full.
"Dust to Lust" features a cover by artist Zbigniew Bielak and will be released by Season of Mist worldwide on July 1st. Regarding the new album, Élson "El" Necrogoat comments:
"We consider 'Dust to Lust' to be our most defying and tough album so far. This is the direction that we intend to follow in future. We worked under the same paradigm as before, but enhanced with antagonist and blasphemous grit, which is fueled by spiritual and carnal truths about our existence.
"The miasmal scent of addictive terror that feeds our content is reflected in a sense of cruel reality permeating these compositions. Do not expect reflections of disguised maturity and evolution! Experience the abyssal revelations clawed straight from the delights of Brazilian and South American horror core!" More...
Dimlight Posts "Invoking The Hunter" Video
Dimlight has released a music video for "Invoking The Hunter," which can be seen below and was directed by Athina Tousia.
After having toured extensively in Europe and shared the stage with Arch Enemy, Lacuna Coil, Epica, Septic Flesh, Rotting Christ, and many more, Dimlight released latest album "The Lost Chapters" on Sliptrick Records.
The story narrated in this album is the origin story of the Egyptian goddess Hathor. Drawing inspiration from the oldest Egyptian myths, Hathor is portrayed not as a goddess of love, joy and fertility as most people today generally consider her, but as bringer of bloodshed and vengeance upon mankind who strayed from the path of the gods into blasphemy.

Power Trip And Integrity Streaming Split Tracks
In one week, the split LP between Integrity and Power Trip will see release via Magic Bullet Records, and the label this week is letting the lead tracks from each band's half of the platter out of the cages.
Integrity's contribution is a retooled, remixed rendering of the 2010 Magic Bullet Records 7" "VVe Are the End." The Power Trip material culls two original tracks from a self-titled 7" on Lockin' Out Records, originally released in 2011.
Previously unheard prior, Integrity also contributes "Her Eyes Is Filled With ?tars," a unique cover of the bizarre song that Howdy (Crispin Glover) serenades Stephanie (Jenny Wright) with in the 1989 film "Twister." The cover song is exclusive to this split across all formats. More...

Pain Announces New Album
Pain, the Swedish metal force led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Tägtgren, is ready to unleash the follow-up to 2011's "You Only Live Twice."
After Peter's Lindemann project with Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann, he retreated and took time to write another industrial metal statement entitled "Coming Home." The release of this record is scheduled for September 9th through Nuclear Blast with cover artwork created by Stefan Heilemann.
Mastermind Peter states: "I was brainstorming about the cover with Heile again... And we got the result that I really needed. I rented a spacesuit and spinned away thereafter... Musically, the album is a development of where Pain and Lindemann ended at - more experimental than what I've ever done before. Acoustic guitars and a helping hand again from Clemens of Carach Angren with the orchestra arrangements, and some guest vocals. And Sebastian Tägtgren did a great job on the drums..."

Running Wild Reveals New Album Details
Good things come to those who wait: three years after the release of "Resilient" (reviewed here), Running Wild now announces the title and release date of new album "Rapid Foray," which will be available on August 26th, 2016 as a box set, on digipak CD, double vinyl LP and digital download.
The band's mastermind Rolf Kasparek apologizes for the long delay: "Due to my broken shoulder, I was totally or at least partly incapacitated for more than twelve months from spring 2014, something that repeatedly delayed work on the new material. After that I had to prepare intensively for our show in Wacken, which was also very time-consuming. Now I'm all the more pleased to be able to present an exceptionally strong new recording to all Running Wild fans."
Kasparek promises his fans one of the most diverse albums yet in the career of Running Wild, featuring eleven varied numbers and a great deal of attention to detail.
"The new tracks are more complex than those on our previous two releases," Kasparek reveals, "which I noticed in particular when we were recording the guitars. At the same time some of the numbers remind me of Running Wild classics. I feel that we've come up with a very interesting and impressive mix."
New album "Rapid Foray" was produced by Rolf Kasparek with Niki Nowy working as sound engineer, who also mixed and mastered the material. The cover artwork is based on a photo by Kasparek, which Jens Reinhold (Virgin Steele, Freedom Call, among others) subsequently gave the look of an oil painting. More...
Conclave Posts Entire Album Online
Today marks the official release of "Sins Of The Elders," the debut full-length from New England-based doom collective, Conclave. Check out the full album stream below.
Captured at Raven's Head Studio in Allston, Massachusetts with Eric Braunschweiger at the recording helm, "Sins Of The Elders: boasts nine grisly tracks of staggeringly heavy and atmospheric oppression.
Comments drummer Dan Blomquist: "We're extremely excited about 'Sins Of The Elders' as this album represents Conclave's writing style and direction for the future more so than our previous EP, 'Breaking Ground.' The only remaining semblance to the days of Warhorse on this album is the track 'Cold Comfort,' which was loosely outlined by [bassist/vocalist] Jerry [Orne] and [guitarist] Terry [Savastano] before Warhorse disbanded.
"The material on this album has contributions from all of us and is just a glimpse of things to come as we continue to grow and foster new songs together. We never dismiss anyone's ideas and don't cater to any one style or genre of metal which I think is evident on this album. Our writing tends to be deeper than it may appear on the surface as people will find when they listen to the album in its entirety and take time to digest the lyrical content." More...

A Devil's Din Streams Full New Album
A Devil's Din will release new album "Skylight" on June 17th, and today all the tracks have come online early. Vocalist / guitarist David Lines comments on the album:
"Essentially this album is really a tribute to the psychedelic experience. I drew on my own personal involvement with certain consciousness-expanding substances to create a set of songs that would take the listener on a journey, both lyrically and musically. Within these 9 songs there exists a certain contrast between the hallucinatory and the heavy. Obviously we also owe a lot of this album's influence to another era, not just by sound and texture, but by the spirit of adventure, daring and experimentation that was prevalent then and bring all of that to the world today, right now."
Bassist Tom G. Stout also adds, "Even though we are inspired by LSD trips, we still like to hit hard, and enjoy getting a little aggressive. You have to balance out the light with the darkness, because otherwise you're not being real." More...

Venom Inc. Forced To Switch Venues
Venom Inc. was forced to relocate last night's show in Kentucky at the last minute, due to the original venue being uncomfortable with the band's dark image. The show instead took place at Madison Live in Covington, Ky.
"As we were there, the owner refused to host a 'Satanic band,'" said frontman/bassist The Demolition Man Tony Dolan. "But we refuse to be closed down in the land of the free!"
Comprised of the founding members and main songwriter from the legendary Venom, Venom Inc. is carrying the name forward with the integrity and merciless aural assault that made Venom the forefathers of an entire genre. Mantas, Abaddon and The Demolition Man kicked off their second North American tour this year last week with two shows in New York City.
"What a way to kick off a tour," Dolan said. "From start to end, every word was sung by the crowd right back at me. We are humbled, honored and ready for WAR!" More...
Aktaion Posts New Lyric Video
Swedish metal group Aktaion has released the new single & lyric video for "Candid Flow of the Shrapnel Dust," taken from upcoming album "The Parade of Nature."
The album features Christopher Amott (Armageddon, ex-Arch Enemy) and Joey Concepcion (Dead By Wednesday, Armageddon) and is due out on July 29th, 2016 via Bandcamp.
Aktaion comments: "The video for 'Candid Flow of The Shrapnel Dust' is done by Andy Pilkington over at Very Metal Art. It was quite the experience to work with Andy on this. He redefined what we conceived as a lyric video and took the themes and emotions behind 'Candid' and built upon them into something great.
"The end result is well beyond our expectations. 'Candid' is one of the longer tracks on the album and contains several emotions and themes spread throughout the album, which ended up into this one song that we hope will bring something new to the listeners! For the video we also wanted something extra to add depth to the lyrics, beyond some of the strong images already featured in the video, so we contacted and got the thumbs up from PETA to use images from their video bank, which can be seen throughout the video!" More Details On New Sodom "Decision Day" Issued
German thrash legends Sodom announced more details on the upcoming new full length album "Decision Day," which is due to drop on August 26th via SPV/Steamhammer Records.
Together with his two comrades-in-arms, guitarist Bernemann and drummer Markus "Makka" Freiwald, bassist/vocalist Tom Angelripper spent four months at the studio honing the new Sodom material. The result is a hard-as-nails, diverse thrash metal offering on the subject of D-Day, the day in June 1944 when the troops of the Western Allied forces landed in Normandy to liberate mainland Europe from the scourge of Nazi Germany.
Songs such as "Belligerence," "Decision Day" and "Strange Lost World" present the Sodom front man once more as a historically well-versed contemporary witness and critical observer of current international events. "Decision Day" was produced by Cornelius "Corny" Rambadt, sound engineer and drummer with Angelripper's side project Onkel Tom.
The new release is bound to cause a stir, not least thanks to its impressive artwork courtesy of none other than Joe Petagno. As well as having worked for Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, Petagno is also Motörhead's favored graphic designer and has created legendary album covers such as Overkill, Orgasmatron and Another Perfect Day. Angelripper: "I was surprised and proud to learn how familiar Joe is with Sodom, immediately bringing up associations of our "Knarrenheinz" when we talked about the artwork. For a Motörhead fan like myself, this cover is an absolute dream come true." More...

Featuring a guest appearance by Utau Yume, the video is available below and showcases a first for the band: Japanese lyrics.
Beyond The Fallen comments on the clip: "This song is our first step into a new territory. We're experimenting a lot with our music as well as our visuals, trying to achieve something different but that's still ours.
"You can hear there are less industrial vibes in the song, which features catchy clean singing and a lot of diversity in the mood, that goes from heavy, to pop, culminating in an epic conclusion with strings and such. Not to mention the lyrics in Japanese!
"We tried something different for the video as well, going from the dark, industrial mood of our first video ('Disconnected') to a white, clean background, where everything is clear and solid. We hope to surprise our fanbase, while we try to reach different people who can be interested in our new style of work."
Beyond The Fallen released full-length album "You Rise, We Fall" in September 2014, followed by a round of gigging and a video for the "Disconnected" single in January 2015, featuring international performer Miss Crash. A remix EP came next, which is available at iTunes here.
