Jungle Rot Posts "Doomsday" Video

Jungle Rot today brings you a new video for "Doomsday," available below. “To me, the video is essentially about paranoia,” states Jungle Rot bassist James Genenz.

He goes on to say, “The protagonist is more than likely a paranoid conspiracy theorist, who probably isn't all that wrong with his theories, but is driven mad because of them. The live shots of us playing under targets are like his delusions, envisioning an attack on a small populace of citizens and we are his weapon. Eventually, he cannot handle the prophetic visions and blinds himself to it.”

With the recent announcement of the Metal Alliance Tour, you can catch Jungle Rot in a city near you. Full dates are available here.

"We're definitely looking forward to getting back on the road!” continues Genenz. “It's been a few months since we've been out and we are excited to perform for our fans again alongside our tour mates. We have a long history with Dying Fetus going as far back as the demo days, and our former drummer Jesse plays for Black Crown Initiate, so this will be one big, fun road reunion!" More...

Within The Fall Parts With Drummer

Within The Fall just checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with the band's drummer:

"Some bad news and some good news. The bad: Markus Norlén is as of now no longer a member of Within The Fall. This has been a mutual decision between the band and Markus and we wish him all the luck in the future.

"Markus helped us record the drums for 'Through the Shadows' back in 2012 and became a full time member shortly after that. Many good times have been had ever since then and we thank you Markus for these years!

"The good news is that Victor Parri (Isole, Hadriel, Desolator etc) has agreed to help us out with live gigs until we can find a replacement for Markus. Victor is not only a very good drummer but also a close friend of ours and we are happy to have him on board for the time being.

"This also means that we are looking for a new permanent drummer, so if you think you've got the chops, please contact us either here on our Facebook page or send us an e-mail at withinthefall[at]gmail.com." More...

Napalm Death Releases New Video

Napalm Death is about to start a massive touring campaign across North America as part of the "Savage Imperial Death March" together with The Melvins and Melt Banana.

Today a new video clip for the track "Dear Slum Landlord" off Napalm Death's 15th studio album "Apex Predator - Easy Meat" has been launched and can be seen below.

This very special clip for "Dear Slum Landlord" was created by Costin Chioreanu of Twilight Media and includes performance footage shot by Oliver Barth of Visions In Fear.

Napalm Death vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway checked in to comment on the video as follows: "Being a very queasy and deliberately monotone kind of song, we felt simplicity was the key with the video for 'Dear Slum Landlord.' Suitably, thanks to two production people in Oliver and Costin - who really understand the contrasting elements of Napalm Death - it's simple, desolate, black and white and just that little bit grim, befitting the subject matter of interconnected housing/labour exploitation which does its best to remain hidden from view." iNSANE Releases New Album "Err"

The 6th album by iNSANE, called "Err," just saw release this week via Edge Records / Hammer Music as the annex of the latest issue of HammerWorld magazine. The album will then become available in a wider distribution on April 4th.

The mixing and mastering was handled in Denmark by Chris Kreutzfeldt, and "Err" features special guest vocalist Molnár Bálint as well as the children choir Kollektív Alternatív Zenei Muhely.

Front man Tóth Bertalan comments: “Here’s the new album of iNSANE which worth every second of waiting ‘cause it’s rip of your head thoroughly. It’s a short but much more high standard stuff. There’s no concrete concept or theme. We just followed the idea rather that if we have something in mind we make music of it and finally put it into a bunch and that’s how our album builds up. However wittingly or unwittingly 'Err' had a nice arc which hits grey feelings and visuality but hope seeker thoughts also both by the lyrics and the music. More...

Glorior Belli Reveals New Album Details

France's avant-garde black metallers from Glorior Belli will release a new album entitled "Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes)" on May 6th via Agonia Records.

Acknowledged for a brand of black metal influenced with a mix of heavy grooves, doom-laden lyricism, and thickly distorting sludge, the band announces a return to former roots on this upcoming record. A first taste of the album is available below, in the form of a lyric video to the title song;

"The production is by far one of the best that Glorior Belli ever had," comments the band. "Drums & bass are absolutely devilish and placed under the spotlight. Everything was recorded, mixed and mastered in our own studios, having an absolute control as usual over the sound. The guitar work overall will bring you back to the origins of Glorior Belli.

"Conceptually wise, 'Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes)' will smother you with darkness and light, both stuffed down your throat with the same rage that could be heard on Glorior Belli's ealier records. When the Night is coming down on you, will you find a way through the dark? A record for the very few of us who truly embrace the desire to break from the cosmic prison." More...

Media Solution Premieres New Single

Formally Italian and now Los Angeles-based heavy metal quintet Media Solution just wrapped up work on a new EP titled "The Prelude," which will be North America's formal introduction to the group next month.

Due out April 22nd, "The Prelude" was recorded with producer/engineer Ulrich Wild (Deftones, Static-X) and Mikey Doling (Snot, Soulfly), and features seven tracks of pissed off heavy metal/hard rock in response to “bland, mind-numbing corporate media…who continue to hide the truth.”

Before relocating to America, Media Solution had the honor of sharing the stage with bands like Motorhead, Obituary, Agnostic Front and Sepultura. In fact, the band’s debut album in 2010 features Derrick Green and Jean Dolabella of Sepultura as special guests, and there's not much higher praise than that.

To introduce the world to "The Prelude," today we're exclusively premiering an absolute banger of a track titled "Destroy Something Beautiful." Check it out below (listening in just costs three easy payments of your body and soul) and let us know what you think!

Media Solution vocalist Robb Sackett comments: “’Destroy Something Beautiful’ is about the beauty of life being distorted and destroyed for power, money & other people's needs. ’The Prelude,’ as well as being the return of Media Solution, is the soundtrack of the impending revolution. In a world where money talks, power corrupts, and egos run wild, 'The Prelude' is a battle cry for the voiceless and a warning to all that stand in the way.” More...

Quite simply, The Algorithm smashes genres like The Hulk smashes everything.

Gallego's new album "Brute Force" is set to drop on April 1st via FiXT, and will be followed by the "Brute Force" tour in May, which we are proudly sponsoring - full date and venue info is available here.

To give you a taste of the "heavy computer music" coming on the impending album, today we're exclusively premiering a new music video for the "Pointers" track, which can be seen below. If you like what you hear, the album is up for pre-order at iTunes digitally or physically here.

Commenting on “Pointers,” Gallego says, “I’m very excited to finally unveil more of my new album today! 'Pointers' is a track that took me a long time to write and finalize, and yet it remains is one of my favorite work so far. A big thanks to Richard Oakes for helping us put the vision into image, enjoy!” More...
