Necrot Travels "Into The Labyrinth"
In less than a month, Oakland-based old-school death metal squad Necrot - which features within its ranks current and former members of Acephalix, Vastum, Saviours, Watch Them Die and Atrament - will unleash the vile fruits of new full-length "The Labyrinth.
Set for release on CD, digitally and deluxe, foil-stamped LP on April 15th via Tankcrimes Records (and on cassette via Sentient Ruin in the U.S. and Extremely Rotten in Europe), "The Labyrinth" spews forth eight devious tracks amassed from three hard-to-find and long out-of-print demo tapes. In conjunction with the release of "The Labyrinth," Necrot will bring some vile odes to the stage on a new two-week North American live run with support provided by Skullshitter. See confirmed assaults below:

Anatomy Of I Recruits New Guitarist
Dutch progressive death metal band Anatomy Of I welcome the addition of Erwin Harreman as a permanent second guitarist. The band's current current line-up is:
Michael Dorrian: Guitars & Vocals
Erwin Harreman (Surpeme Pain): Guitars
Edwin van den Eeden (ex-Sinister): Drums
While the pre-production for Anatomy Of I's second album is in the works for a late 2016 release, the band is still looking for a bassist.
Dorrian states, "We're looking for a musician with experience and a pro attitude in the proximity of Rotterdam." Interested parties can contact the group at management[at]anatomyofi.com.
The group's debut album, "Substratum," featuring bassist Steve DiGiorgio and drummer Dirk Verbeuren, was re-released in 2015 by Punishment 18 records. More...

Metallica Posts 1984 "Seek & Destroy" Live Version
Metallica premieres a 1984 live rendition of "Seek & Destroy", taken from the band's upcoming new "Kill ‘Em All" deluxe reissue, which will be out in stores April 15. The track was captured during Metallica's live set at J Bees Rock III in Middletown, NY back on January 20th, 1984.
