Within The Fall Parts Ways With Drummer Markus Norlén

Within The Fall just checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with the band's drummer:

"Some bad news and some good news. The bad: Markus Norlén is as of now no longer a member of Within The Fall. This has been a mutual decision between the band and Markus and we wish him all the luck in the future.

"Markus helped us record the drums for 'Through the Shadows' back in 2012 and became a full time member shortly after that. Many good times have been had ever since then and we thank you Markus for these years!

"The good news is that Victor Parri (Isole, Hadriel, Desolator etc) has agreed to help us out with live gigs until we can find a replacement for Markus. Victor is not only a very good drummer but also a close friend of ours and we are happy to have him on board for the time being.

"This also means that we are looking for a new permanent drummer, so if you think you've got the chops, please contact us either here on our Facebook page or send us an e-mail at withinthefall[at]gmail.com."

Markus comments on leaving the band: "Hi people! Some sad news - after a mutual decision between me and the band, I am as of now not a full member of Within The Fall. I always knew that some day I needed to make this hard choice, and I assure you, it was a damn hard one to make. I wanted it to work so bad with both of my bands, but at the end of the day it's me who takes all the beating with stress and so little time for rehearsal to give 100% to both Within the fall and Deception. I want more hours per day, haha!

"But anyway, two bands, family and working nights, it's not ideal for me to have several bands that are progressing their way through the massive battlefield to the top. I am sure that Within The Fall will find a good replacement and I wish them all the best!"
