Wodensthrone Breaks Up Following Departure Of Guitarist
U.K. pagan black metal band Wodensthrone has unfortunately decided to call it a day, and all upcoming tour activity has been cancelled. The band comments:
"We regret to announce that after ten years of activity, Wodensthrone is no more, following the amicable departure of founding guitarist Wildeþrýð. We simply cannot carry on without such an integral member missing from the lineup.
"We would like to thank all of our supporters, all the bands we have shared the stage with, and all those who have helped make Wodensthrone's existence such an incredible experience during these years; we will take our memories to the grave.
"Wyrd Bið Ful Aræd!"
Wodensthrone last released the "Curse" full-length album in 2012 via Candlelight Records, which can be heard in full below.
