Spite Premiere New Single "Looking Glass" From Upcoming New Album "New World Killer"

California deathcore outfit Spite have unveiled a new track titled “Looking Glass,” featuring guest vocals from Matt McDougal of Boundaries. A visualizer for the collaboration went live tonight, arriving just ahead of the band’s forthcoming studio album, New World Killer, which drops this Halloween.

Frontman Darius Tehrani shared that the song draws from the emotional aftermath of losing a parent, explaining the inspiration behind its lyrics as follows:

“This song is about coping with the passing of my father. Being robbed of grief and carrying an anger with nowhere to go. I’m grateful Matt McDougal was able to sing on such an important song with me.”
