Analapsy Releases New Lyric Video

Slam death metallers, Analepsy, have released a lyric video for their new single, "Spasmodic Dissonance", feat. Suffocation's Ricky Myers on guest vocals. The song appears on the band's forthcoming album, "Quiescence." You can check it out below.

The vinyl version of "Quiescence" will be issued on May 27 via Agonia Records. The album will be released on CD, MC and digital formats on April 15 via Miasma Records and Vomit Your Shirt. Pre-orders can be placed now at this location.

"Quiescence" continues the space motif from Analepsy’s previous releases, but from a different perspective. There are no living creatures, only the deserted cosmos awaiting its own demise. The album features guest appearances from Ricky Myers (Suffocation, Disgorge), Angel Ochoa (Cephalotripsy, Disgorge, Abominable Putridity, Condemned) and Wilson Ng (Facelift Deformation, Vermicular Incubation).

The band commented: "We are delighted to present our most recent work: Quiescence! This has been a tight process, and despite all the changes the band went through, everything worked like clockwork. The essence of our music lives on!"

The recordings of "Quiescence" took three months (August - October, 2021), entailing the skills of guitarist/co-founder Marco Martins, guitarist/vocalist Calin Paraschiv (ex-Pestilence), bassist João Jacinto and ex-drummer Tiago Correia. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Miguel Tereso at Demigod Recordings studio in Caxarias, Portugal. The cover artwork was created by Pedro Sena - Lordigan. More...

Tygers Of Pan Tang Posts New Music Video Online

Legendary NWOBHM band Tygers Of Pan Tang release today the official video for the title track of their new EP, "A New Heartbeat". The video, directed by the band's drummer Craig Ellis, was made in Covid-19 pandemics time, with a working method and a concept reflecting exactly that.

"By the time the World had persevered through over a year of the Covid-19 pandemic we were all in a very bleak state and the band, presented here in black and white from the onset, is a reference to that", Craig states. "As the song progresses and the pandemic worsens each member loses definition, becoming a different person to who they once were. Each member is often in their own modular shape just as many of us have been when having to quarantine, but we also come together at times just as we did during the writing of the new album. The vibrant green, present throughout the video, represents three elements; the moving modular shapes are the covid virus threat that is constantly shifting towards and away from us; the ECG pulse is the aspiration and fortitude to overcome the disease and the menacing tiger in the background is constantly moving towards the screen as we all, together fight and push forward, challenging the pandemic head-on. Towards the end of the video we see a further change clearly indicating promising signs ahead", the musician/director concludes. More...

Dymytry Shares New Music Video

In early 2022, on January 14th, Czech psy-core metal act Dymytry released their sixth album, entitled "Revolt," via AFM Records. It's their first album in English ever. Following five successful records to date and a platinum award for their previous release Revolter, Dymytry has opted for a step that is unusual for the band in two respects: Revolt, originally recorded exclusively in Czech, is the first international Dymytry album as well as introducing their new, additional singer Alen "A.L." Ljubic.

"We wanted to show to the world that there is great music in the Czech Republic, too," bassist Artur "R2R" Mikhaylov comments. "We feel that our first English album is a very strong record, we really put everything into it."

In support of their critically acclaimed Revolt, today the band unleashed a wicked video clip for the album track "Never Gonna Die". Says vocalist Alen:

"'Never Gonna Die' is the fourth single taken from our international debut album Revolt, a song coming in at full force, with a modern electronic vibe, huge djenty guitars and a catchy hookline that will haunt you forever. We are super excited to present you our new cinematic video, inspired by a true horror classic "The Bride of Frankenstein“. As Jan Murga took care of the band performance shots, I directed the story shots and created the design for the resurrection set. It turned out exactly as I imagined and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. Watch the clip, and enjoy a dark, powerful horror scenario." More...
