Revel In Flesh Posts 2015 Recap
Germany's Revel In Flesh just checked in with this year-end message and announcement about upcoming activity:
"2015 is finally crawling to its end…It has been a really active and as well productive year in the logbook of Revel In Flesh. We’ve played more shows than in the previous years and with a look at the map of Germany we’ve conquered many regions. Some damned good memories like the minitours with Puteraeon, Obscure Infinity, Graveyard, and Decapitated Christ.
"Protzen festival, Summer Breeze, or for example the damned cool club show in Essen supporting Soulburn and Thanatos. For sure a crazy journey thus far! Thanx a lot to all those freaks and die hard maniacs who helped us in every possible way to spread the Deathkult!
"At the current state we stuck already in songwriting process for a possible 4th Revel In Flesh album, which is most likely supposed to hit the lights in 2016. Before this we will have in spring another split 7” EP coming up with a Swedish band, who basically did a nowadays called cult underground album back in 1993. Stay tuned for more details on the vinyl 'Casket Ride!'
"One more thing that comes to my mind now as well: it seems that a lot of critics claim that there’s too much old school death metal (especially Swedish sound inspired) out there nowadays! Well, in our case I think that back in 2011 when we started with writing material for Revel In Flesh there was no talk about overkill or even of something like 'a new wave of German death metal!' A lot of hype is always created by those who complain afterwards! More...

The man himself had this to say: "Hi, Isak here. There is no easy way to say this, so I'm simply just going to put it out there. My time in Tantara is over. This is something that has been on my mind for a while and it has finally come to a point where I have to be true to myself, as well as the other guys in the band.
"It's been a good one and I'm truly happy with all the times I had with this band. I want to say thank you to everyone who has been supporting this band and will continue to support this band. I'm sure that Tantara will continue as strong as ever. Thank you."

Theologian Releases "Dregs"
The latest works of auditory cruelty from New York City-area dark ambient/industrial act Theologian see release today. You can hear all of the self-released "Dregs" below.
Evolving from its earliest incarnations, "Dregs" took on an entirely new aspect in recent weeks, the final product yielding more than an hour and ten minutes of material. Countless nocturnal recording expeditions and marathon mixing sessions have resulted in some of Theologian's most demoralizing material in years, with wells of harsh industrial chaos merging with rapturous end-time melodicism.
Also out today is "Black Fire Theology" -- a collaborative EP initiated by Russell MacEwan of Glaswegian doom act Black Sun -- available digitally here.
In celebration of the new titles, Theologian tonight releases them to the public at a special pre-New Year's live event in NYC, dubbed The Future. See the band live on these dates:
12/30/2015 Trans-Pecos - Queens, NY @ The Future w/ Pyrrhon, T.O.M.B. Sire

Tourniquet Issues Update On Band's Future
After the band parted ways with vocalist Luke Easter, Ted Kirkpatrick from Tourniquet has issued the following statement to fans:
"Hey everyone. Just a quick update on the present and future of Tourniquet. First, Tourniquet is not going away. I have more than a lifetime of music to give, and God willing, I plan to share it with whoever would like to hear it, just as I always have – under the name Tourniquet.
"The classical influence, the medical terminology, the allegories to nature, the beautiful and the ugly sounds, the fast and the slow, the ordinary and the unexpected, the triumphs and challenges to faith and hope – all these things you the fans have indicated you like about our music – will continue - and continue in new ways.
"The new material is very heavy (and sometimes beautiful), and full of melody and twists. Vocals will be with a new singer – not a collection of vocalists (although I love doing that, as you know by now – wait ‘til you hear the guys on the Sabbath tunes!)
"So – thank you all for hanging in there – onward to 2016 and beyond – and a very Happy New Year to you all!" More...

"For everyone else who won't be able to attend, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy these songs until the record comes - but you need to jump on it today before they're gone.
