Angist Issues New Album Update

Icelandic band Angist just issued the following update about parting ways with the band's label and working on a new album:

"Dear friends! First of all we would like to thank you all for your patience and support regarding our upcoming album. We know we have been silent regarding the recording process for some time. We want to share with you what has been going on with Angist.

"We started to record our album which we were really excited for but unfortunately we had to part ways with our producer in the middle of the process which put those things on hold. We didn’t anticipate the delay to be this long. Life can be unpredictable and we’ve had to face difficult tasks and one member has been dealing with serious illness since last year but is now on the mend and getting stronger.

"We would also like to use this opportunity to report that we have parted ways with Abyss Records and we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Daniel and Abyss Records for their support and their devotion to metal music.

"We are happy and excited to inform you that we are now back on track finishing the album and we can’t wait to unleash some new music to you guys!

"We are looking forward to come back stronger than ever, getting back on the road, meet new friends and old and PARTY!!!

"We are very thankful for all the support during this time, the messages, comments, reviews, sharing our music, concert goers and the support by buying our music and merch! You guys are awesome! May the force be with you!"
