The Safety Fire Posts Acoustic Video
Following a busy summer of festivals, The Safety Fire has been hard at work writing for a third studio album.
However, the band has also been experimenting with some different arrangements of songs from last years "Mouth Of Swords" and now reveals an acoustic reworking of the track "Wise Hands."
The band had this to say: "Growing up with bands like Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam during the era of MTV-unplugged, we have always had a fondness for acoustic interpretations and versions of songs. This was something we just did for fun but were really happy with how it turned out. With the music being stripped back we felt the video was a fitting portrayal." More...
Deathcode Society Issues Album Update
Deathcode Society just checked in with the following announcement about nearing the end of working on a new album:
"A few words to say that we are about to finish the album. We are done with the most crucial stages of the mixing process, and we just have to make every elements sound perfect and balanced.
"Just picture there is a couple of songs with more than 100 recorded tracks. We also have several little things to record (acoustic guitar on one song, an electronic intermezzo to finalize, maybe a couple of voice overdubs), but only tiny details compared to the huge cathedral we have built.
"It's also time to unveil a part of the graphic identity of the album. We have worked with Andrzej Masianis for an artwork that you will discover inside the CD box.
"The cover itself will be painted in December by the great Paolo Girardi, who is enthusiastic about the ideas we sent him.
"So, we have never been so close to the end, haven't we?"

Dead By April Releases New Video
Dead By April has a new music video out now, which can be seen below, and the band's publicist also comments:
"The video is largely performance-driven, so it gives you a clear picture of the band's look, along with the mania and the melodics that define DBA's music. There's also plenty of pyrotechnics and the aforementioned hot chick so enjoy! DBA mix Swedish melodic metal with moshy metalcore stylings. Make sure to crank this one loud when you watch it. Make that very loud!"
