Dendura Vocalist Aziza Taking Break From Band
Vocalist Aziza of Egyptian themed metallers Dendura has issued the following announcement about taking a break from the band:
"Dear friends and fans,
"Some of you have already emailed me about my recent interview in Associated Content about Dendura and I feel I need to explain more to you, my fans and friends. Dendura has been at a stand still with our album on Killzone Records produced by Neil Kernon. Due to the economy, Killzone, like many other record labels, simply doesn't have the funds to complete our album; therefore, we are not able finish the album within a reasonable time. We all have the determination to complete this album, but realistically it may be up to a few years. In the mean time, we are working more on a self produced album.
"Since realizing the Neil Kernon album will take longer than any of us anticipated, I have decided that I need to focus on other singing opportunities and projects. With that said, I am taking a break from Dendura for a while. I am not quitting the band, but I have to keep on a path that is healthy and positive for me. For the benefit of all involved, I need to take a step away and rejuvenate and evolve into other musical projects. More...
