Unearth has issued the following announcement about playing a walk-in only club show:
"Unearth to play a 200 cap venue in their old stomping grounds the Merrimack Valley! It's been five years or more since we have played a club show in the Merrimack Valley. An Interview With Charlotte Wessels of Delain
The symphonic metal band Delain is one of those few studio experiments that worked, and worked well. What originated as a group of musicians working on a special project with Martijn Westerholt is now a full-fledged five member band that has released their own album, “April Rain,” and toured throughout Europe with female singer Charlotte Wessels at the forefront. Mastic Scum Finishes Recording New Album
Austrian metallers Mastic Scum have issued the following announcement about completing the recording of their upcoming album:
"After intense weeks in the studio we ended up recording 12 songs for our upcoming album. Everything went well in the recording-process, the result is fucking exciting and will be a blast for your speakers!

Pica Fierce Posts Cynic Cover Online
Norway's Pica Fierce has posted a cover of Cynic's "How Could I" on their MySpace page. The band comments on their final recording:
"Check out our cover-version of Cynic's 'How Could I.' We recorded this song late last year at Eiriks home studio and it's the last recording we did as a band."
"You may notice that the tempo is faster than the original but it still got the groove. New on this is that Øystein plays all the rhythm while Kjetil plays all the solos, it's the first time we did it like that."
Arsis Announces New Album Title
Virginia melodic/technical death metal band ARSIS has announced that "Starve For The Devil" will be the name of the fourth studio album.
This release will mark the return of founding member/drummer Michael Van Dyne, who states:
"The new ARSIS record is coming along great - we have eleven new original songs nearly completed, as well as a cover song which will probably be used as a bonus track. First Bands Announced For Asian Death Metal Fest
Trinity Records has issued the following announcement about the line-up for the upcoming Asian Death Metal Festival:
"We, here at Trinity Music, with our desire to unify and to push the Asian Metal scene to worldwide recognition will be organizing an ASIAN DEATH METAL FESTIVAL (Tomahawk Metal Fest 4) this coming August 29, 2009 in Hong Kong. The said festival is the first of many Asian Metal Fest series that we will organize.
"We are just doing this to unify the Asian metal scene and push it to worldwide recognition and nothing more. This will probably be Hong Kong or Asia in general most extreme metal show will ever experienced. This will be total aural devastation from the first to the last band. We guarantee you that.
"We are hoping that in our little way, we can make enough difference to our beloved Asian metal scene. We are doing ours we hope that we inspire you to do your own little way such as supporting a very worthy event like this.

"Evangelion was recorded in the band's hometown at Radio Gdansk studio with longtime sound engineer Malta, the Wieslawscy Brothers, and Daniel Bergstrand (drum engineering) in the producers' chairs. Andromeda Announces New Live Album Release Date
Metal Mind Productions has issued the following announcement about releasing a new live album from Andromeda:
