I'm probably the inspiration for Bowling for Soup's song 1985 ~ a product of the 80's I'm an expert on glam and classic metal. Since signing on with MU I've also come to love European melodic power metal and neoclassic.
When I'm not busy reviewing and interviewing for Metalunderground, I'm probably either reading or in the kitchen. I love any vampire story, from Dracula to Twilight, but I'll read just about anything I can get my hands on.
I love to bake - 1001 Chocolate Recipes is my go to cookbook, but I'm also a pro at beignets, king cake, and other southern fare. I'm a proud Louisianian, and I frequently use the terms "fixin to" and "how's your mama an 'dem?"
And I'm a football fanatic ~ high school. college, pro, doesn't matter to me. The fall finds me slinging nachos at the concession stand to raise money for my kid's band, and sitting in front of the tv watching Notre Dame and the Saints on Saturday and Sunday.
