Peaceville Starts New Podcast
In a new Peaceville podcast series, former Peaceville Records employee, Dave Pybus - responsible for the layout and design of many classic titles (and perhaps more widely known for his time with Anathema and Cradle of Filth) - discusses his days at the company at the start of the 1990s, and talks with some of the bands and artists from back then, reflecting on the ways of the industry and the changes since.
In this first episode of his "Peaceville Days" podcast, Pybus talks with Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride about the early visions of the band, plus techniques of constructing artwork in the early 90s, along with some of the tribulations involved in the pre-Photoshop era.
Also joining the trip down memory lane is a conversation with artist Dave McKean, himself responsible for some of the early iconic My Dying Bride artwork. More...

"With this new lineup the band will now turn their focus to the writing of a new album, tentatively titled 'The End.' Total Negation Releasing Third Album
One-man blackened doom metal assault, Total Negation, will unleash third full-length, "Zeitzeuge," on June 16th via Sweden-based Temple Of Torturous Records.
The follow-up to the 2013-issued" Zur Späten Stunde" maintains the cold, eerie elements of its predecessor. The integration of instruments like the melodica and the vibraphone still intact, on "Zeitzeuge" master craftsman Wiedergaenger allows for more breathing room and breadth in his compositions. Still cold, depressive and atmospherically corrosive, Wiedergaenger manages to merge primal black metal, doom, and Krautrock elements into a sound that's at once lush, confounding, and apocalyptic. The new album's track listing is:
1. Betrachter
2. Fluechtling
3. Augenzeuge
4. Kronzeuge
5. Heimkehrer
6. Zeitzeuge More...

Nick comments: "Unfortunately it has come for me to part ways with Eternal Void, this is nothing personal against any member of the group as they are all amazing people in which I love, I know it is a sudden departure but as a person my passion for music, touring and business is not there, EV is destined for great things and with personal and financial struggles I would hold them back as a band, I love everyone who has and will support this band and you as fans should continue to do so, though my time was short we have created a family like bond and the guys are in full support of this decision."
