Akrotheism Releasing Split With Septuagint
Forever Plagued Records proudly presents "Sphinx: The Great Enigma of Times," a special split CD between Akrotheism and Septuagint. The label comments:
"Uniting two elite orthodox black metal entities hailing from the once-again-thriving Greek scene, 'Sphinx: The Great Enigma of Times' features three exclusive tracks that span a thoroughly engrossing 45 minutes.
"Akrotheism contributes two gnarled 'n' gnarling tracks that take sepulchral black metal even deeper into the tombs, exhibiting a cold 'n' calculating confidence that belie their young years as a band. Septuagiant continue sthe spiritual quest begun on last year's acclaimed 'Negative Void Trinity' EP, here offering a harrowing epic-length track that explodes with violence and then simmers with haunting shades of atmosphere.
"Together, both hordes revive the true spirit of the religion of evil in black metal. Topped off by incredible artwork by Artem Grigoryev, damned be those souls who do not embrace his power...." More...

Predatory Light Announces Vinyl Release
Pesanta Urfolk is proud to present Predatory Light's debut release, "MMXIV," on 10" vinyl format this coming March 30th. The label also comments:
"Originally released last year on cassette, the 'MMXIV' EP is a staggering work at just two songs. With enviable ease, Predatory Light build undulating oscillations of smokestack sonic sorcery, shapeshifting from black metal to sludgy doom and back and forth, sounding like the same band yet one that can't be easily pigeonholed. As such, 'MMXIV' offers a glimpse of a bold newcomer whose star is clearly on the ascent."
The band also had this to say: "Conceived in the vermiform labyrinth of spiritual fire, Predatory Light seeks to sonically envenom the corporally enslaved and immolate the immaterial being through waves of blackened discordancy. Now revealing the 'MMXIV' demonstration of power, an oscillating pilgrimage into shapelessness and sub-terrestrial penitence." More...
