We’re sincerely grateful to Emma Higgins, Stefan and the Brass Tacks Production team, and MuchFact for making this project come together so well."

Obsequiae Announces New Album
20 Buck Spin is honored to announce the upcoming second full-length recording from medieval cult Minnesota metal outfit, Obsequiae. The label comments:
"Last year, 20 Buck Spin released the first vinyl edition of Obsequiae's masterfully unique 2011 debut album, 'Suspended In The Brume Of Eos.' Perhaps the only band that might fit as well on a label like Harmonia Mundi as on 20 Buck Spin, the band now re-emerges with 'Aria Of Vernal Tombs,' having painstakingly shaped their second opus over four years in the same way an expert woodworker plies her trade to craft singular works of exquisite beauty.
"As before, traditional medieval source material, this time interpreted via Obsequiae's Vincente La Camero Marino's sparse, sorrowful harp pieces, appears throughout Aria Of Vernal Tombs providing a foundation on which to base the longer metal-based sagas that form the album's core. Black metal, death metal, traditional heavy metal and medieval music are all weaved seamlessly together in baroque yet abrasive reverence on Aria..., resulting in a remarkably original long-player.
"With a wet clarity to the incandescent production that cites underrated obscurities like Sacramentum's 'Far Away From The Sun' and Eucharist's 'A Velvet Creation,' along with the early works of Varathron, Samael, and Rotting Christ, the atmosphere created on 'Aria Of Vernal Tombs' brings to 2015 what such bands strangely but sincerely captured years ago. Every sound and shimmering tone is intentional and essential to this rite of Spring." More...

MF Ruckus Releasing "Thieves Of Thunder"
MF Ruckus doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but what the band does is steal its hubcaps on "Thieves of Thunder."
Motherfucking Ruckus - or MF Ruckus for use in polite company - is a true rock 'n roll band. Period. The group sees little use for sub-genres as they are often synonymous with pigeonholes. Instead, MF Ruckus emulates and assimilates the skills and attributes of rock's greatest warriors, using them as weapons of domination in the arena of songwriting and lives performance.

Murp Crowd Funding New EP
Murp - the band featuring a pair of youngsters who shocked America's Got Talent with guttural vocals - has launched a crowd funding campaign to release a new EP. You can contribute and see the perks for taking part at GoFundMe.com here. The band also comments:
"With the help of our Patreon members (and my tax returns) Murp is going to release their second EP! Recording and mixing are complete. So the first half is done, but we are coming up short for the second half of the project.
"We still need to have the album mastered, CD printing/duplicating/packaging, digital releases, bubble mailers, promotions, and all the other fun stuff that seem to come up when putting out a record. We need to raise at least $2000 to cover these costs.
"We're reaching out to Murpsters, and anybody else that has hope for the next generation of Metal. Every donation helps and pledges of 25$ or more will receive a autographed copy of the EP, a Murp poster and badge! Donations over 100$ will get the same thing plus a Commemorative Plaque and a Thank You in the liner notes!
"Our first EP was a bit of a homage to the whole America's Got Talent experience. Aaralyn was 6 years old and Izzy was 9 when that was recorded. Now, 2 years later, Aaralyns vocals have matured, Izzy's drumming has exploded and we can't wait to show you what these two amazing kids have pulled off in the studio!
"his EP way more brutal then our debut, so obviously we are calling it 'Sweet Music.'" More...
