Decapitated Seeking Donations For Vocalist
Alina Squeak has issued the following press release on the behalf of Decapitated singer Adrian "Covan" Kowanek:
"As most everyone knows, it has been just over a year since the tragic bus accident that ultimately took the life of Vitek, drummer of Decapitated, and seriously injured their singer, Covan. The families of Vitek and Covan wish to express deep gratitude to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, funny stories, and donations sent to them during this last very difficult year.
However, Covan is still going through a long and difficult recovery, and the family would once again ask for you to look into your heart and possibly send donations. It is INCREDIBLY expensive for all the round-the-clock medical care, the doctors, the nurses, the therapy, the medicine, etc. Most of you could also understand that, since he is also in Poland, it is even more expensive than it would be in the US or most other parts of Europe. His care and recovery is ongoing and he is slowly showing some progress, but it will be quite a bit of time before he is completely better. Some people may think that, although they would like to help, that they have nothing to give… but in truth, if every one person out there that thought this could donate even just $1, that amount will significantly multiply and make a huge difference!
If anyone out there would like to help, there are three ways you can do that. All the old paypal donation information has been shut down a while ago, so please make note of the NEW address and account numbers! More...

Al Jourgensen To Remain With Revolting Cocks
Following the release of 2006's star-studded "Cocked and Loaded," the Revolting Cocks (RevCo) will be releasing "Sex-O Olympic-O" on March 3rd, 2009. RevCo founding member Al Jourgensen is clearing up, once and for all, the rumors surrounding the band's future. "Much like Menudo does or the Blue Man Group, I was going to hand the band over to this younger generation of RevCo's, to Sin [Quirin/guitars], Josh [Bradford/vocals] and Clayton [Worbeck/keyboards], kind of franchise it out. I think that these three knuckleheads capture the true essence and spirit of being 'a Revolting Cock,' if you will. But, this album turned out so damned good, I think I'm going to stick around for a while."
"This is the best RevCo album I've ever done," Al continued. "As a matter of fact, I think this is the best album - including Ministry, Pailhead, Lard - anything I've ever done, period. Production-wise, song-wise, I'm really, really happy with this record. It's the first CD I've ever gotten back from the mastering studio that I didn't have anything to bitch about. No complaints. I listened to the whole thing and just went, 'OK, that's a wrap. Let's go'!" More...
