In December 2008, Long Island death/grind metal band Dr. Acula, Uprising Records, and Sony|Red Distribution launched Shock Street Records. Shock Street Records/Uprising Records will be releasing the new, untitled third record for Dr. Acula.

The band is currently writting, and plan to release the new record in 2009.

I have a feeling these guys are Mitch Hedburg fans. But in my never ending search for new music and new bands to listen to I will be checkign these guys out.
