Voivod Finishing Up New Album
Canadian metal legends Voivod are currently finishing up work on a new studio album which contains the last guitar tracks recorded by late guitarist Denis "Piggy" D'Armour. No title or release date has been annouced so far. The band is also hoping to release a DVD chronicling their first ever tour of Japan.

I agree with the three of you, Chazz, Netromancer and Txmetalhead. Voivod is just not the same without Piggy, and the band was always him. He was responsible for making this band happen, and replacing a dude like him just can't be the right thing, example: if you replaced Dimebag in his bands Pantera or Damageplan, its legacy could be ruined, tarnish, or whatever.

Although Voivod isn't the same without Piggy, I wouldn't mind them getting a replacement for him. Almost the whole original band (except Away) had been gone anyway, Snake left in '94, but came for the 2003 reunion album and Blacky had left in '91 before he reuntied with the band last year.
