Mudvayne Impacts Radio, Plans Concert Webcast
MUDVAYNE has slammed onto the charts with "Do What You Do," the fastest-rising single of their career. Garnering over 75 radio adds out of the box--in the first 36 hours the track became available this week--the song is #1 most added at the Active Rock chart and #2 most added at Modern Rock.
As the band prepare to release "The New Games," their first studio album in three years (due out November 18 via Epic Records), the band is working even harder to get the best possible deal directly to their fans in light of the tough economy by opening up ticket sales of their upcoming tour to all outlets and partnering with Best Buy to add a free live web cast of their concert to fan club members who pre-order the album at bestbuy.com/mudvayne.
"We want fans that cannot afford to see us live or that live outside our tour markets to still get the benefits of our 'The Album Is The TicketTM' program," says singer Chad Gray, "and by adding the live webcast and releasing ticket sales to the general public, we are now able to offer fans even more value and options for their money in this rough financial time."
The concert webcast will be from one of the tour stops (TBA) on the first leg of "The New Game Tour 2008." Meanwhile, all tickets will be released at all outlets by Monday, September 29th. All current "The Album Is The Ticket" members are entitled to a free meet and greet at their selected show.

AC/DC Tickets Selling Out In Record Time
Fans of AC/DC have prompted the Aussie rockers to add new shows in America after selling out a string of November and December concerts in record time.
The Vancouver, Canada opening night of the band's first world tour in eight years sold out in just four minutes and all other U.S. dates on the upcoming Black Ice trek are following suit.
Unprecedented fan response has prompted the rockers to add shows in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Oakland.
Blabbermouth.net reported that Chicago's Allstate Arena concert sold out in minutes on Saturday. A second show was added and that sold out over the weekend too. Both Madison Square Garden concerts in New York sold out in minutes.
Meanwhile, AC/DC fans in San Antonio, Texas bought more tickets in one day for AC/DC than for any other artist in the city's history, and tickets for the band's Rogers Center show in Toronto, Canada sold faster than any stadium concert in the venue's history.

Though we were unable to give you the show we wanted to give you due to problems and code violations within the venue, I think we all pulled together as best we could and made the Friday night show one hell of a good show.

Warbringer Posts New Video, Announces Tour Plans
WARBRINGER, who will soon embark on a North American tour with Overkill in support of their debut offering, "War Without End," released their new video for the song "At The Crack of Doom,"
The band heads out on Oct. 1 supporting the legendary Overkill for a month-long North American assault.
After WARBRINGER finishes their stint with Overkill, they will wrap-up the songwriting process for their much anticipated sophomore offering and then head into the studio in to begin tracking. The band will then join up with Soilwork, Darkane and Swallow The Sun for an extensive tour that will last from January 30th through March 22nd.
John Laux (guitar) had this to say about the Overkil dates: "We couldn't be more excited to hit the road in support of fucking Overkill. It's been awhile since we've stopped by your town on a real, killer thrash bill. We hope to see all of our friends around the country for some good, violent and bloody old-school mayhem. We've been waiting a long time for this."
WARBRINGER just completed a new video for "At The Crack of Doom" with up-and-coming director Joe Hendrick. The clip is a performance-based video and can be seen below (after the jump). More...

Austrian Death Machine Show Gets Shut Down
Apparently Austrian Death Machine's first show was shut down prematurely due to a crowd member's actions. Here is a blog post from the band about it:
"So, this news is about a week old for some of you Californians, but I know that not everyone lives in this great state, so I will tell the story to the masses.
"Last week was the first ever Austrian Death Machine show. Everyone but Ahhnold was nervous because we didn't want to let down the great Governator and we only had two days to practice together. Well, four songs into our set we were just starting to get comfortable when T-1000 walked into the venue.
"I couldn't believe it! T-1000 (who kept trying to tell me he was a real California police officer) shut the show down because some idiot in the crowd decided to get too violent. Even though we had nothing to do with this craziness, I still feel there are some people I need to apologize to. Here is the list...
- everyone who paid to see the show and only got to see 4 songs
- our friends that got jumped by some stupid "crew" at the show (sorry to EJ in particular)
- Antagonist who was supposed to play after us
- the rest of the guys in the band who helped me pull of this project live... Mark MacDonald flew in from New Hampshire and Jon "Charn" Rice flew in from Phoenix"

"Our sound has been described as "Iron Maiden meets Symphony X". Right now one of our guitarists and our keyboardist is filling the role of lead vocals (they trade off on certain songs) but what we really want is one person with a serious set of pipes to take over.
