Austrian Death Machine Show Gets Shut Down By "T-1000"

Apparently Austrian Death Machine's first show was shut down prematurely due to a crowd member's actions. Here is a blog post from the band about it:

"So, this news is about a week old for some of you Californians, but I know that not everyone lives in this great state, so I will tell the story to the masses.

"Last week was the first ever Austrian Death Machine show. Everyone but Ahhnold was nervous because we didn't want to let down the great Governator and we only had two days to practice together. Well, four songs into our set we were just starting to get comfortable when T-1000 walked into the venue.

"I couldn't believe it! T-1000 (who kept trying to tell me he was a real California police officer) shut the show down because some idiot in the crowd decided to get too violent. Even though we had nothing to do with this craziness, I still feel there are some people I need to apologize to. Here is the list...

- everyone who paid to see the show and only got to see 4 songs
- our friends that got jumped by some stupid "crew" at the show (sorry to EJ in particular)
- Antagonist who was supposed to play after us
- the rest of the guys in the band who helped me pull of this project live... Mark MacDonald flew in from New Hampshire and Jon "Charn" Rice flew in from Phoenix"

^I agree ! But I blame the guy who shut it all down. Anybody can be crazy (or in this case violent) but that's no reason for 'T-1000' to call the entire show off, what a jerk.

I still find it funny that in Portland there is a rent a cop company called "Whack-a-hut!" And they say "whats in a name?" PFFFT!

why didn't they just arrest the person that got violent and let the show go on. this persons actions isn't the bands fault. that kind of sh** sucks.

Yeah sadly, bristowe is right..metal concert have frequently become violent very quickly. I love it, but it the stupid fukks who want to "throw down" that ruin it for everyone else. Just watch the fukkin' show, and chill out. No reason to get into a fight.
