"Black Lightning Gallery undertook what can only be described as a painstaking labor of love to curate, restore and unveil these rare images. In addition, they worked to select iconic, renowned shots to be released as limited edition fine art prints.

"Kirkland has unveiled the first selection of images from the collection, including Guns N’ Roses during the 'Sweet Child ‘O Mine' video shoot, Ozzy Osbourne backstage with a white dove, Iron Maiden at Long Beach Arena in 1985, Motley Crue during the 'Girls, Girls, Girls' video shoot, Randy Rhoads, Steve Vai with David Lee Roth, Metallica with Cliff Burton, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Van Halen and many more.

"Visit Black Lightning Gallery and experience their brand new online presence! The new site features many exclusive images, hand signed by Gene Kirkland himself, which are all available to the public for purchase as limited numbered editions. The website has many fan bonuses including exclusive looks at images of backstage passes from the shows, personal memories from Gene Kirkland and many more.
