Archspire Posts Guitar Playthrough
Following a previous stream of the track Archspire has now released a guitar playthrough video for the track "Human Murmuration" feauturing guitarists Dean Lamb and Tobi Morelli. The track hails from new album "Relentless Mutation," which will see a worldwide release on September 22nd and was recorded and engineered by Dave Otero at Flatline Studios.

Spirit Adrift Announces "Curse Of Conception"
Arizona's psychedelic desert doom troupe Spirit Adrift - featuring members of Gatecreeper, Goya, and others - today offers a crushing new sample of the band's impending second LP, "Curse Of Conception," which is set for October 6th release through 20 Buck Spin.
Check out the title track below. "Curse Of Conception" was engineered and mixed by Sanford Parker (Yob, Pelican, Eyehategod) and features artwork by Joe Petagno (Motörhead, Magic Circle, Autopsy).
Spirit Adrift has booked two release shows for the LP, one in Tempe on October 7th alongside Atriarch, Take Over And Destroy, and Divine Hammer, and the second in Denver on October 14th with Khemmis and Abrams. Stand by for live updates including widespread touring in support of the record.

Whitechapel Announces Tour With Carnifex
This fall, Whitechapel will embark on a North American tour to commemorate the 10th anniversary of "The Somatic Defilement."
The "A Decade Of Defilement" tour will see Whitechapel's set list feature select tracks from that album that have not been played since the disc's original release. Support will be provided by Carnifex, Rings of Saturn, Entheos, and So This Is Suffering. See below for all confirmed dates.

Manimal Is "Invincible" In New Video Clip
Swedish heavy metal act Manimal issued a new video clip for the song "Invincible." The song is taken from the 2015 album "Trapped In The Shadows."
The footage from the video was captured from the band's European tour with Firewind and Scar Of The Sun from earlier this year.

No Limited Spiral Issues New Music Video
Japanese melodic death metal act No Limited Spiral released a new music video for the song "Gestalt - Eve." The song appears on the band's latest release "Into the Marinesnow," which was digitally released at the end of July via Wormholedeath/Aural Music Group. The physical CD will be released on September 22nd. '

Spectral Voice To Release Debut Full Length Album
After no less than five demos/rehearsals and two splits, Colorado's Spectral Voice are finally crossing the Styx and delivering their first proper full-length...and it is gigantic. The album will be entitled "Eroded Corridors of Unbeing" and will be issued on October 13th via Dark Descent Records as a vinyl LP, cassette and digital download.
While things appear quite straight-forward on paper (the band has never hidden their love of roughly mixing early and down tuned Finnish death metal with extreme doom in an acid bath) there's something quite unique about this band. Instead of weakening the impact, the rawness and vast sound only emphasizes a genuine thirst for darkness.
Like a lurker oozing with evil intentions, Spectral Voice likes to remain in the shadows. There, the band patiently learned from elders, only to regurgitate its own brand of extreme death/doom. For instance, "Visions of Psychic Dismemberment" is an eleven-minute long trip into the darkest regions of our collective mind, where Uholy's trippiest moments join Incantation for a dance around the fire. The opening blast beat sequence in 'Lurking Gloom' on the top of bleak arpeggios will fire up most Disembowelment freaks.
Far more than just a sum of its parts, "Eroded Coridors of Unbeing" is a unique and claustrophobic voyage, cavernous yet full of clarity. Here, Spectral Voice is the sound of one's soul going further down the abyss...and it is taking you with it! More...

Funeral Baptism Reveal Debut Full Length Details
After a well acclaimed debut EP "Gate" (still available for free streaming at this location), Bucharest based duo Funeral Baptism is finally ready to reveal the first details on the upcoming full length album to be released in collaboration with Loud Rage Music by the end of this year. Stay tuned for more details soon.
The band’s first album will be titled "The Venom of God," and here’s what they had to say about it: “We worked hard on this album and we think to have reached a perfect balance between atmosphere and aggression. We bring more variety yet keeping the traditional basis of Black Metal intact.”

The Wake Issues Details On Debut Album
Romanian/German duo The Wake announce the debut album will be entitled "Earth's Necropolis" and is scheduled to be released in collaboration with Loud Rage Music this Autumn. Check out the artwork and first single "The Painter of Voices" below. More details on the album will follow.
The cover artwork is the work of well-known graphic artist Travis Smith who has done work for many established rock and metal bands, including Death, Devin Townsend, Katatonia, Nevermore, Opeth, Anathema, and King Diamond among others.
The Wake’s goal is to show the world that black metal returns with simplicity, but great passionate songwriting, proving a high intensity capable to reach big audiences again.
The Wake plays black metal having Dissection, Venom and Bathory as main inspiration, but the style reminds of some of the biggest Scandinavian names (Immortal, Darkthrone, Dark Funeral) and shows also a powerful melancholic side, which resembles the British premiere league of dark and depressive music (old Anathema, My Dying Bride, Cradle Of Filth).

A Light Within Updates On Recording Of New EP
Critically acclaimed post-metal band A Light Within is pleased to announce that the band is currently in the studio recording a new EP. The EP, which is titled "Epilogue" is slated to be released in winter of 2017. Stay tuned for more information.
The band commented "Twiddling dials, tweaking mix, trashing eardrums at Massive Sound with bearded post-rock Buddha Paul Malinowski behind the board, we're looking forward to five finished tracks of post-metal bliss in about six weeks, with a winter release to follow".

Rig Time! To Release New Album "War"
La Crosse, WI bruisers Rig Time! will release sophomore album "War" on October 20 via Innerstrength Records. Check out the album track "Vengeance" streaming in the player at the bottom. Pre-order the album at this location.
Following full-length "Sick of It" (2016) and two EP's (2014's "Awful" and 2015's "Devout"), all of which were self-released, the band's forthcoming debut for Innerstrength is best described in the band's own words: "HEAVY."
Featuring a sound that is the audio equivalent of a tank column entering a besieged city, the crunch and clangor of War is a game-changer. Amplified Memory Reveals New Album Details
Amplified Memory has announced the release date of the forthcoming album "Vas Hermeticum." The album is set to drop October 20th via Sliptrick Records in all the usual formats. The German melodic death metal act has worked long and hard on "Vas Hermeticum" and feel they have put together the best recorded work yet, pushing and embellishing on an already wide-ranging and complex style.
Here’s the album description in the bands own words; “The psyche of a person can metaphorically be understood as a hermetically sealed alchemic glass vessel – a ‘vas hermeticum’ – in which the condensation processes resemble the human ability to intellectualize (sublimate) and then realize (concretize) psychic content, therefore to reflect on it. Alchemists called this procedure inside this symbolic cosmic uterus ‘solve et coagula’."
Amplified Memory’s highly conceptual album Vas Hermeticum deals with the philosophical nature of dream and reality. On nine energetic, emotional, captivating songs and a hypnotically beautiful intro track they explore the world of hallucinations, near-death experiences and oneiric states as well as the questions for self-perception and the separation of those realms from what we call reality.

Ancient VVisdom Signs With Argonauta Records
U.S. occult rockers Ancient VVisdom inked a deal with Argonauta Records to release the highly anticipated new album “33.” The album follows the previous paths "A Godlike Inferno" (2011), "Deathlike" (2013) and "Sacrificial" (2014). “33” will be released worldwide on CD via Argonauta on October 13th. Check out the first single "Light of Lucifer" in the player at the bottom.
From the band, Nathan Opposition says: "Forging ahead, I have kept the all seeing eye on the fallen angel to keep my faith in his works. This album is a work made of worship songs to our Lord and Master Satan. The collective efforts of our unholy Trinity Lucifer, Satan and The Devil. In light of darker times, I find it necessary to express myself in a way that teaches on a higher level."

Liverbox Signs With Rock It Up Records
Rock It Up Records is proud to announce a signing of Finnish Hard Rock band Liverbox, which will release the debut full length album "Rock 'N' Roll Salvation," before the end of the year via City Of Lights Records (a division of Rock It Up Records).
The video for the track "Falling Apart" has already been released and can be viewed in the player at the bottom. Before the release of the album, the band will shoot a second music video, which will be directed by well known Finnish photographer, Video director and ex-Sentenced drummer Vesa Ranta.
The band adds: “We’re so pleased to announce teaming up with Rock It Up Records. This represents a huge step for Liverbox and we look forward to working on our new album together and taking the band to the next level”.
The album was recorded at Wah Wah studios in Oulu, Finland and was produced by Kari Vähäkuopus, who has previously worked with Finnish metal bands such Poisonblack and Catamenia etc.

Metalite Signs With Inner Wound For Debut
Inner Wound Recordings is proud to announce the signing of the Swedish melodic metal band Metalite to the label. The band's debut album "Heroes In Time" will be released on October 27th in Europe and North America.
Metalite was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2015 when guitarist Edwin Premberg met vocalist Emma Bensing. The goal was to write and record melodic and memorable metal songs with a modern and fresh sound.
Edwin and Emma started to co-operate with the Danish producer Jacob Hansen [Volbeat, Evergrey, Amaranthe] and songs started to take shape. During 2016, Metalite found three experienced musicians that agreed to join the band: drummer Lea Larsson, guitarist Robert Örnesved and bassist Robert Majd.
"Heroes In Time" is an impressive debut album filled with melodic and memorable songs, crowned with the strong and emotional vocals by vocalist Emma Bensing as well as a powerful production by Jacob Hansen. The album should be perfect for fans of bands like Beyond The Black, Dynazty and Amaranthe!
The artwork shown below was created by Jan Yrlund (Apocalyptica, Leah, Korpiklaani) and guest appearances on the album includes Fraser Edwards (Ascension) and Jakob Svensson (Wigelius).
