The Unguided Announces New Vocalist, Album

Former guitarist and singer Roland Johannsson has decided to leave The Unguided, and now the band has brought on new frontman Jonathan Thorpenberg.

After having released a 2-track EP in December of last year, it's time to get ready for the full-length studio album to follow. Please welcome "And The Battle Royale" - scheduled for a worldwide November 10th 2017 release via Napalm Records!

Richard Sjunnesson states: "We've without doubt sacrificed our five souls into this one. Everyone knew it would be a career defining record after the departure of our highly acclaimed brother and we had no intensions to disappoint our fans nor ourselves writing and record this dynamic monster with innovative producer Dino Medanhodzic. Everyone indeed brought their absolute A-game on this record and Jonathan over performed in every possible way whilst also bringing something completely new to the table. A table which much urgently needed it I'd say. Come November and the battle royale will make or break you!"

Kreature Of Habit Calls It Quits

Gunnison, CO group Kreature Of Habit has officially called it quits, with the band issuing this message online to fans:

"There is no easy way to say it, but Kreature Of Habit is no more. The past two years have brought much blood, sweat, and beers. Revamping this group has brought more enjoyment and fulfillment than I think we ever could have hoped for, (from a shitty 'mountain town metal band').

"Though abysmal, Gunnison's music scene continually kept us impressed with what we were able to accomplish with their/your help! Receiving heavy support from the unexpected, and being turned away from where we thought we might be welcomed, all lent to the drive we had to give this valley the heavy music outlet it deserves; no filter, no apologies.

"The past two years have also brought many changes in each one of our lives. Facing challenges and embracing transitions either inspired, or seemingly distracted us from our increasingly eager goals as a band. During this transition I expect there to be even more unexpected changes, but these will be the ones to place us in the right directions.

"It is with this that we must bring Kreature to a close. There are so many crazy, unforgettable nights to reflect on; please feel free to leave a picture, comment, or memory below.

"One Love, Cooper and Them Kreature Boys

"PS - You'd best believe we will all be continuing in our own musical endeavors, as music is our one true love and destiny. Look out!" More...

Aetherian Streaming "Seeds Of Deception"

Greek melodic death metal group Aetherian today reveals "Seeds of Deception," the first song from debut album "The Untamed Wilderness," which is set to be released in November of 2017 via Lifeforce Records. The label comments:

"Listening to Aetherian for the first time makes you think the band would come from Finland or Sweden, but the trio in fact is from sunny shores of Greece. Even with a Southern heritage and much more Vitamin D in their veins the band from Athens share the same melancholic genes as their 'competitors' from the upper North. With the sound the band is creating we are very sure Aetherian will be playing in the first league of melodic death metal bands very soon." More...

Septicflesh Posts "The Enemy Of Truth"

Today the Greek demons from Septicflesh unveil a lyric video for "The Enemy Of Truth," taken off impending album "Codex Omega" that will drop September 1st, 2017. The band comments:

"In the past it was much easier for someone in a position of power to silence an 'irritating' mouth. In our age, with the evolution of communication and the high speed that information can be spread to the 4 corners of the world, new elaborate methods are being employed.

"And many claim to fight in the name of truth, but essentially they fight against it… Many voices making noise vs few voices speaking clearly. Can this turn the other way around? Listen to 'Enemy of Truth' below! More...

Quor Embarking On U.S. Tour

For the first time in 40 years, the shadow of the moon will be cast directly across the middle of the United States as the Earth passes behind it.
