Arch Enemy Issues "The Eagle Flies Alone" Video
Arch Enemy has revealed the second single - "The Eagle Flies Alone" - taken from the forthcoming album "Will To Power," due out on September 8th via Century Media Records worldwide.
Band leader Michael Amott comments: "Strangely enough, this is a song I wrote in sunny Mexico last year, but fear not - Arch Enemy hasn't gone Mariachi on you! On the contrary, this song is steeped in classic Metal and melancholic Scandinavian atmosphere. Lyrically, this is an anthemic warcry to all fellow individualists around the Heavy Metal world. We shot the video with our director Patric Ullaeus in Sweden on the coldest outdoor shoot I can recall ever doing! The end result was totally worth it, it turned out beautifully. I guess sometimes you really have to suffer for the art!"
Once "Will To Power" hits the streets, Arch Enemy will do what the band does best, hitting the road and taking the latest batch of heroic metal anthems to the people! The band will kickstart the international "Will To Power Tour" with a headlining jaunt across Eastern Europe with special guests Jinjer in September before making way overseas for a co-headlining North American tour with Trivium featuring support from While She Sleeps and Fit For An Autopsy from October through December. Arch Enemy will continue touring into the new year with a January trek across Europe with support from Wintersun, Tribulation, and Jinjer. Full dates can be found both here and over here.

Drone. The word itself conjures the image of a bleak, desolate - dare I say - grim landscape, one covered in lakes of tears and forests of trajedy. In the middle of this forsaken purgatory exists the crushing bleakness that is Canadian post-black metal, shoegaze band HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE. Like their namesake, this pentagonal conglomerate of musicians vomit forth a soundtrack befitting the insanity that is mankind.
Building on a foundation of a bleak, droning atmosphere, Hell is Other People juxtapose elements of post black metal and shoe gaze to create an atmosphere that teeters between serene endearment, and crushing bleakness.
Immerse yourself in their brand new EP, "Embrace," and pray to your false gods that you come out the otherside mentally and physically unscathed. The title track is available below.

Meat Train To Unleash "Random Acts Of Carnage"
On the 29th of September a new level of horror, fear and ferocity will be pulling into a station near you. The whispered warnings have spread through the metal underground like wildfire and now the dreaded event is upon us...Meat Train have returned. Led by a deranged anti-priest, these sinister, soulless beasts of brutality are on a crusade of carnage. They not only want to watch the world burn, they want to kill as many people as possible as the flames engulf us all.
Contagion Records have taken it upon themselves to release Meat Train’s unholy book, the bestial bible, the manual to the end of all things..."Random Acts Of Carnage." The eleven hymns of horror that nestle like vipers beneath the bloody insanity of the cover art explore the darkest depths of human behavior. From unflinching examinations of the chapters of history that shame our entire species to flesh eating fantasies and tales of the undead, Random Acts Of Carnage leaves no ghastly stone unturned, no shadowed corner unexplored.
The tales of terror are accompanied by musical muscle of the most intimidating power. The band that Terrorizer magazine once said would make you ‘"ick to your stomach" have never been more fiercely focussed. This is real death metal – filthy, grinding, decimating death metal that will drown you in blood and have you choking and gasping for more. Featuring a gruesome, guttural, guest backing vocal performance from Svenson Groß of Fleshcrawl, a guitar sound heavy enough to reduce bodies to pulp, a vocal presence to freeze the blood and a merciless bottom end that propels the listener into the meat grinder of the relentless drum assault – this album is unstoppable.
The track listing is:
1. Random Acts Of Carnage
2. Handle With Caer
3. Eat Or Be Eaten
4. Redneck Zombies
5. Orchards of Death
6. Fear The Machine
7. Stop Killing All The Whores
8. Wolf
9. Saviour
10. Insubordinate

Biesy Issues Video For New Song "Czern Nas Prosi"
New project, Biesy, revealed new music via a video clip for the track "Czern Nas Prosi" (roughly translates to "blackness begs us"), ahead of the release of the debut album "Noc Lekkich Obyczajów." The album will be released exclusively via Third Eye Temple on September 9th.
Biesy is project started by PR, who wrote all of the music and lyrics. The project is strengthened by Stawrogin (Odraza) on vocal duties and MP (Outre) on drums.
Biesy - translates to “fiends” from Polish - were born out of everyday working, urban and monotonous realities. The project explores how urban concrete life can separate you from reality, but at the same time enables you to cross its borders. This is not the place for faith - there is no time nor will. During the night people go astray and willingly drown among the masses on the streets. In the morning they fall down to create a passage for everything that is wonderfully common and hideously sincere. However, it is not certain if they even left the room. More...
The Kennedy Veil To Release "Imperium"
California death metal legion The Kennedy Veil will release the newest full-length "Imperium" on October 20th via Unique Leader Records. The eight-track offering was produced, mixed, and mastered by Zack Ohren (Animosity, Suffocation, All Shall Perish et al) at Castle Ultimate Productions and features guest appearances by Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder, Sven de Caluwé of Aborted, and Dickie Allen of Infant Annihilator. It comes swathed in the cover art of Robert Cook (see it below).
The occult has been a construct within civilizations all over the world, varying in degree and modernity, but always present. Each individual culture derives its occultism from the dark myths that permeate within its subconscious hive mind. America as a culture -- as an experiment -- has been volatile since day one. Plagued by a history of genocide, slavery, and corruption, its burgeoning occult is in its fragile yet violent infancy. Imperium highlights themes of this encapsulation: That is, fear, myth, despair, and humanity's inclination toward utter corruption.
Taking influence from a purer, more ancient evil of European descent, The Kennedy Veil has incorporated symphonic, blackened themes that parallel the lyrical aesthetic. Moving one step away from the more technical side and two steps into a deeper, darker, more blackened aggression.
Issues the band: "We are beyond excited to bring you our newest and greatest interpretation of darkness and intensity: 'Imperium.' This album shows our maturation not only as musicians but as individuals seeking truth amongst a never before seen landscape of obfuscation and evil. These eight songs came from our hands to warn of the oncoming desolation our culture is awaiting. We give you Imperium. A new chapter in The Kennedy Veil tome. Nowhere is safe."
Preorders for Imperium will be available in the coming weeks. The track list is:
1. Godslaughter
2. Legacy Left
3. Hunted To Extinction
4. Draconian
5. Last Born
6. Flesh Of The Sun
7. Dawning Of Wrathful Deities
8. Seething Rot More...
I Klatus Announces New Album "Nagual Sun"
Chicago doom/sludge eclectics I Klatus will release the new album "Nagual Sun" October 13th via digital download and analog (cassette) formats. The highly anticipated follow-up to 2012's "Kether" is the band's third full-length album (and fifth release overall). An official video for album track "Sorcerer's Gaze" is available in the player below.
The overall sound of "Nagual Sun" maintains the gritty roots for which I Klatus is known, while at the same time launches the group into new and more fully fleshed-out dimensions of weirdness. Tom Denney is the primary soothsayer behind I Klatus. Denney, whose background is steeped in the visual arts, has provided artwork and monsters for a laundry list of signed metal acts in the community (Kylesa, Black Cobra, Samothrace, Cannibal Corpse, Cephalic Carnage and Rwake just to name a few). His guitar squalls hard against the shores of this stoner metal effort, but also manages to rise above the storm in melodic hymns. Denney trades growling vocals with bass player, John E. Bomher, Jr. (Bury The Machines, Yakuza), who keeps things grinding nicely, while also providing some sweeter tones when they let songs open up and sweep across more ethereal planes. More...
Fallen Arise Announces New Guitarist
Athens based symphonic metal act Fallen Arise has announced the band's new guitarist, Giacomo Paradiso (Essential Genre Obsession)!
Stated the band: "We are so excited to present our new guitarist! Giacomo Paradiso from beautiful Siena, Italy. Belongs now to Fallen Arise family! Welcome to the band Giacomo!"
Fallen Arise was formed in 2009 and released the second full length album “Adeline” in October 2015 via Rock Of Angels Records (aka ROAR), which combined a theatrical atmosphere with a progressive approach and a heavy-metal-alike heaviness. The album takes us back in time of the Victorian era of the 19th century (1837-1901), presenting us the decay of the human body and mind through fiction. The album was realized in the collaboration with an ensemble of 40 renowned musicians from the National Opera, the Athens State Orchestra, the NERIT Orchestra and the Piraeus Concert Band. More...
Soul Enema Casts Out Into "Aral Sea II"
Israeli progressive metal act Soul Enema issued a new music video for the song "Ara Sea II," which features a guest appearance by ex-Orphaned Land guitarist Yossi Sassi, who plays rhythm and solo parts on Bouzoukitara - a unique custom-made instrument combining Bouzouki and electric guitar.
The song is taken from the recent album "Of Clans and Clones and Clowns," which is available now through Bandcamp.
On the song and clip the band states: “‘Aral Sea II’ is the second part of the ‘Aral Sea’ trilogy, dedicated to the environmental disaster of the former sea — one of the biggest ecological problems of our time,” comments keyboard player and songwriter Constantin Glantz.
“This video features magnificent time-lapse footage taken by photographer Denis Frantsouzov on his journey through the Aral Sea/Ustyurt Plateau region. We tried to capture the reflection of an irreversible loss, and bid a final farewell to the Aral Sea — once a blooming oasis in the desert, now literally turned to dust as a result of reckless human activity.”
